It was banned because it was a disturbing and the goriest movie ever made. The movie shows that a mother would do anything to save her child. The twist in the movie might be quite average if you are smart enough to figure it out. But, it’d be a great plot twist if you couldn’t. The story is quite good but it’s all the blood and gory scenes shown in the movie that got it banned.

The movie has lots of body parts and blood splattering everywhere. It has a shock factor and is filled with troubling scenes.

The movie shows the story of a woman who dies in an accident. When her dead body is put into a morgue drawer, we see two workers performing autopsies on a pair of male bodies. What follows after that is plain insanity. One of the workers locks himself with the body and indulges in necrophilia. The story itself is so strange but the movie takes it to another level.

While the movie was never really banned in Japan itself, it did get a lot of attention after the bans were ordered in different nations.

In the film, we get to see the story from the serial killer’s point of view. The movie was banned for extreme violence. Every death is shown with minute detail, shot with extreme perfection. There’s intense violence happening with a monologue going on in the background which gives us a deeper insight into the killer’s head. The movie delivered what it intended very well, providing a perspective from the killer’s angle as we see whatever he does with whoever he pleases.
