On March 18, 2020, Freeform broadcast the first episode of the American supernatural drama television series Motherland: Fort Salem. Eliot Laurence was its creator.

Motherland: Fort Salem centers on the three witches Raelle Collar, Abigail Bellweather, and Tally Craven who are drafted into the American Army. Their vocal cords are used to enact “seeds” or “seed sounds,” layering vocal sounds to produce potent spells. They also practice combat magic. The show is set in a world where women predominate and where the Salem Accord, which was reached 300 years ago, put an end to the American persecution of witches. 

The Spree, a witch resistance group opposed to the conscription of witches, is a terrorist organization with which the world finds itself at odds.

The 2013 Steven Gould novel Impulse served as the inspiration for the American science fiction drama streaming television series Impulse. The book was the first in a series that started with Jumper by Gould.

The series is a loose sequel to the book’s 2008 motion picture adaptation. On YouTube Premium, the series debuted on June 6, 2018.

Impulse centers on 16-year-old Henrietta “Henry” Coles, who learns she can teleport but cannot choose where she goes. When she first realizes this, Clay Boone, the star basketball player and captain of her high school, is attempting to rape her while they are in a truck. When her ability to teleport first appears, she has a seizure and teleports, accidentally crushing much of his truck in the process and leaving him paralyzed. 

The next part of the episode focuses on Henry’s reactions to the attack, including her fear and the realization that it can cause her to teleport.

It debuted on HBO on August 16, 2020, with Jonathan Majors and Jurnee Smollett in the lead roles. Warner Bros. Television Studios, Monkeypaw Productions, and Bad Robot Productions are responsible for the show’s production.

Matthew Federman and Stephen Scaia are the creators of the American action-adventure television series Blood & Treasure, which debuted on CBS on May 21. Along with Taylor Elmore, Ben Silverman, Marc Webb, and Mark Vlasic, Federman and Scaia serve as writers and executive producers. CBS gave the show a second season renewal in June 2019. 

The series’ transfer from CBS to Paramount+ was announced in May 2022. On July 17, 2022, Paramount+ broadcast the second season’s debut. It is based on the identically named DC Comics character designed by Otto Binder and Al Plastino. Melissa Benoist plays the series’ title character. When Kara Zor-El was thirteen years old, her parents Zor-El and Alura sent her from Krypton to Earth. When Kara’s spacecraft was knocked off course and sent into the Phantom Zone, where it remained for 24 years, it was supposed to protect her infant cousin Kal-El. 

Kal-El had grown up and transformed into Superman by the time the spacecraft made a crash landing on Earth. Twelve years later, Kara has taken on the superheroine alias “Supergirl” and is beginning to embrace her superhuman abilities as a Kryptonian.

The L Word: Generation Q, a Showtime drama series that debuted on December 8, 2019, is an American drama. The L Word, which aired on Showtime from 2004 to 2009, is being followed up in this series. 

The series, like its predecessor, centers on a group of LGBTQ friends who live in Los Angeles, California. The show’s main characters are a diverse group of LGBTQ+ people who live their love, heartbreak, sex, failures, personal growth, and success in Los Angeles. 

In the brand-new setting of Silver Lake, Los Angeles, Generation Q is set more than ten years after The L Word. Along with a new cast of multicultural characters, several actors from the first season of the show returned to reprise their roles. The show Is available on Hulu.

American science fiction drama television program Paper Girls was created by Stephany Folsom. The same-named 2015–2019 comic book series by Brian K. Vaughan and Cliff Chiang served as its inspiration. On July 29, 2022, the show made its debut on Amazon Prime Video.

A time-traveling adventure that will save the world is portrayed in Paper Girls by four young girls who, while delivering newspapers in the early morning hours after Halloween in 1988, unknowingly get caught up in a conflict between rival time-traveling groups. They encounter future versions of themselves as they move between eras, and they must decide whether to accept or reject their destiny.

Based on Ben Dunn’s Warrior Nun Areala comic book character, Warrior Nun is an American fantasy drama streaming television series created by Simon Barry. The concept was initially created as an adaptation for a feature film, but after Netflix had given the production a series order for a first season, it was reimagined as a television series. 

The fictional Order of the Cruciform Sword’s headquarters were filmed in Antequera, Andalusia, Spain, one of many locations used for filming.

A 19-year-old woman who wakes up in a morgue with a new lease on life and a divine artifact embedded in her back is the central character of the film Warrior Nun.  She learns that she is now a member of the venerable Order of the Cruciform Sword, which has been tasked with battling demons on Earth, and that strong forces from both heaven and hell are out to get her and have control over her.
