Beetlejuice is a 1988 American fantasy Horror comedy film. Directed by Tim Burton produced by The Geffen company, and distributed by Warner Bros Pictures.

Ghosts haunting their former home, contact Betelgeuse(pronounced and occasionally spelled Beetlejuice in the film and portrayed by Michael Keaton). An obnoxious and devious “bio-exorcist” from the netherworld, to scare away the house’s new inhabitants.

Beetlejuice 2 storyline

Beetlejuice 2, Critically acclaimed filmmaker and screenwriter, Tim burton presents the long-awaited sequel to the Halloween classic. Keaton,s action-packed comedic demon returns to the silver screen for more mischief than ever before. When the Maitland house explodes so the doe the fun so buckle up. The original cast and crew plus new additions return to Beetlejuice and are found homeless in the netherworld.

He takes it upon himself to travel back to the mortal world seeking comfort only to find the Maitland house has blown up due to a gas leak, leaving our beloved characters without a humble home to share the love. in search of guidance, the crew travels down to the netherworld only to find there’s a new sheriff in these parts, the (Jersey Devil). Through a surprising turn of events, the self known ladies man, Beetlejuice learns that Jersey is his long-lost son through one of his numerous love affairs. Lydia Deetz (Winona Ryder) is wooed by the enchanting Jersey Devil.

Despite being married to a struggling real estate agent (David Harbour). Through kooky scenarios and ecstatic characters, the fun never stops .though entertaining, it is also a heart-wrenching tale that shows Beetlejuice is just another man trying to find his way in the world. The story also progresses with the idea that family is never truly ideal. The story continues when you say the release date is three times broken.

Beetlejuice 2 Plot

In winter river, Connecticut, Barbara, and Adam Maitland decide to spend their vacation decorating their idyllic country home. As they are driving home from a trip to town, Barbara swerves to avoid a dog and the car plunges into the river. After returning home, she and Adam notice they now lack reflection and find the book Handbook for the recently deceased. They begin to suspect they did not survive the car accident. When Adam attempts to leave the house he ends up in a strange and otherworldly desert-like landscape populated by enormous sandworms.

the house is sold and new owners, the Deetz family, arrive from New York City. Charles Deetz is a former real estate developer; his second wife Deila is a self-proclaimed sculptor, and his teenage goth daughter Lydia, from his first marriage, is an aspiring photographer. Under the guidance of interior designer Otho, the family transforms the house into a pastel-toned work of modern art.

Consulting the handbook, the Maitlands travel to an otherwordly waiting room populated by other distressed souls, where they discover the afterlife is structured according to the complex bureaucracy involving vouchers and caseworkers. The Maitland’s caseworker, Juno, informs them they must remain in the house for the next one hundred and twenty-five years, in pain of dire fate. if they want the Deetzes out of the house, it is up to them to scare them away.

Although Adam and Barbara remain invisible to Charles and Delia, Lydia can see the ghost couple and befriends them. Against Juno’s advice, the Maitlands contact the miscreant Betelgeuse, Juno’s former assistant and now a freelancer bio-exorcist to scare away the Deetzes.at first, they are unaware his name is pronounced Beetlejuice, which is why they have such difficulty pronouncing it and thereby summoning him.

However, Betelguese quickly offends the Mailtlands with his crude and morbid demeanor, they reconsider hiring him, though too late to stop him from wreaking havoc on the Deetzes.The small town’s charm and the supernatural events inspire Charles to pitch his boss Maxie Dean on transforming the town into a tourist hot spot but Maxie wants to prove the ghosts using the handbook for recently deceased, Otho conducts what e thinks is a seance and summons Adam and Barbara using their wedding clothes but they began to fade and decay.

As Otho had unwittingly performed what was actually an exorcism instead. Horrified, Lydia summons Beetlejuice for help; but he will only help her on one condition that she marries him. Enabling him to cause chaos freely in the mortal world. He saves the Maitlands and disposes of Maxie, his wife, and Otho, then prepares for a wedding before a ghastly minister.

the couple intervenes before the ceremony is completed, with Barbara riding a sandworm through the house of devouring Betelguese. Finally, the Deetzes and Maitands agree to live in harmony within the house. Betelguese meanwhile is stuck in the afterlife waiting room; there he antagonizes a witch doctor who shrinks his head. Being Betelgeuse, however up beats and states that it is fine for him, and Lydia dances happily away with ghosts.
