Cagaster of an Insect Cage Season 1 Ending Explained
Cagaster of an Insect Cage Season 1 depicts a story where humans are transformed into giant bugs after being attacked by bugs and the only way to prevent their transformation is to behead them. It means that in both ways, humans are getting killed. It is murder. Later it is revealed that there is a group of people with certain genes which can prevent their transformation into giant bugs and it becomes a big matter of concern later as the series progress.
The whole story keeps coming back to the connection that Kidow and Ilie gradually make, with occasional more poignant moments also coming from other characters. Unfortunately, it does not have enough of those moments to elevate the series as a whole to a higher level. The series end was not as great as we expected neither the anime series was too great to be applauded for.
Cagaster of an Insect Cage Season 2 Plot
Cagaster of an Insect Cage Season 2 plot revolves around a post-apocalyptic world that revolves around giant insects eating people. The movie plot is set in the future, in the year 2095 when a new disease suddenly broke out which could transform people into giant insects in a mere 20 minutes. The only way to stop a person from transforming into a giant insect was to behead them. and once transformed, victims, lose their minds and become impervious to most normal weapons.
30 years later, all that we see is one-third of the population is wiped out. Individuals who specialize in killing the giant bugs – now called Cagasters – are called Exterminators, and among those, a young man named Kidow is the best of the lot in the city. Kidow was very good at his work and he could easily kill the Giant bugs. One day when he was sitting with the merchant whom he was guarding came across a man who was attempting to flee from his village with his daughter when they got attacked by Cagasters.
With his dying breath, he asks Kidow to take the girl, Ilie, to her mother Tanya. The man asked him to protect his daughter and lie to his mother about the giant bug bite. But as it is said, lies can be kept hidden, one or the other day, it will show and people will get to know everything. when he was taking care of the girl he realized that she is not as normal as she looks. After all, she did survive unscathed the bug attack which killed her father, and some individuals from outside.
On the whole, Cagaster of an Insect Cage flirts at times with being a much better series, as it has moments where the storytelling, music, pacing, and sense of visual staging come together in a highly synergistic fashion. But anyways they do not have a plot that could elevate the series as a whole to a higher level.
