Celebrity Jeopardy! season 2 is an American game show where the celebrity contestants compete with each other to win money and the amount of money won is then given to charity. It is a game show hosted by Mayim Bialik, created by Merv Griffin and narrated by Johnny Gilbert.
The game is played by 27 celebrity contestants. Bracket tournaments with 3 rounds are held. The 27 contestants are divided and made to compete with each other in 9 quarter final games at first. Then the winners will advance into 3 semi final games. Thereafter the semi final winners compete each other to win the finals and win the grand prize for $1,000,000 which goes to charity and the title of ” Celebrity Jeopardy! Champion “.
Celebrity Jeopardy! Season 2 Storyline
Celebrity Jeopardy! has 7 episodes with each episode having a structure similar to the civilian Jeopardy! show, where the clue values are based on 1984-2001 clue values. The show starts with the ” Jeopardy!” round where the clue values range from $100 to $500, with one hidden Daily Double. This Daily Double gives special power to whoever selects it. The contestant who selects it can wager some or all their score on the clue. The initial round is followed by the ” Double Jeopardy!” round. In this round, the clue values are doubled that is $200 to $1000 and two hidden Daily Double Clues are there.
After the two rounds a ” Triple Jeopardy!” round is played which is similar to the international one- hour versions of the game. In this round, the clue values are tripled to $300 – $1500 with three daily doubles. In the third round, one category is played with the clues being represented by a civilian champion.
After three rounds are played, a final round under the name ” Final Jeopardy!” is played. Here the contestants first receive the category and can wager any amount from $0 to their current score. After that, each of them receives a clue and have to write the answer before the ‘Think’ music ends. The selected wager of the players are added to their individual scores if they are correct and subtracted if incorrect. The player receiving the highest score at the end of this final round wins the game and bags the designated cash prize.

Celebrity Jeopardy! is a reality TV show premiering on the ABC television network. In this show, different celebrities compete in various rounds to collect the possible amount of cash for their favorite charity. The celebrity-contestants have to respond to given clues given in form of questions. There are three rounds that they need to qualify – the Jeopardy! round, the Double Jeopardy! round and the Triple Jeopardy! round.
The dollar value and the difficulty of the game increases simultaneously. The contestants with correct responses qualify for the next rounds. The final stage of the game is called as the Final Jeopardy! round where the players can bet a portion of their secured winning amount to increase their total to win the game.
