Made as a sitcom, the show brings a nostalgic element of fun and comedy by showing the life of a family who lives in Central Park in New York City. Read on and find more deets about Central Park Season 3.
Central Park Season 3 Storyline
The Tillermans are a family of four. The Dad, Owen Tillerman is the park manager. The wife, Paige, is a journalist who’s looking to write a real news story one day. Their kids are Molly and Cole respectively. The family loves the park and does their best to try to preserve it, from being sold or turned into anything else.
Turning it into anything else is exactly what the other two main characters of the sitcom want. Turning it into condos, shopping complexes, etc. is the big ambition of Hotel Heiress Bitsy Brandenham and her suffering as well as exhausted assistant Helen wants.
Each episode shows their comical plots incorporated with 4 musicals each, with the trivial but funny life of the family and boss-assistant duo.
Season 3 saw the story begin with some filming happening in the park, with the season premiere titled, “A Star is Owen”. Owen, after taking over, manages to bring high-profile film shooting to the park location, and this time it’s Gina Tracker, the family’s favorite tv show, that will be filming in the park. The family had a blast with the shooting even when Owen disagreed with the director Nathan.
On the other side, Bitsy is troubling and poking Helen to find a suitable “puppet” for her as her original puppet mayor was replaced by an interim one.
The second episode saw Paige’s sister Abby visit them, which causes a breakout between Molly and Cole about who’s Aunt Abby’s favorite, while Owen tries to calm them down and help in cooking. Paige goes to meet Abby the photographer she’s going to but she also had a meeting with a publisher, something she long wanted. Bitsy and Helen are their usual self, where Bitsy threatens to fire the piano player and his wife when he says his wife will replace him.
The next scene shows Molly and Brendon fighting, while Abby, Owen, and Cole help prepare Abby for her role. Bitsy and Helen have a meeting with the mayor. Episode 4 saw the family learn important lessons about what’s important through a hard drive.
Episode 5 has Owen making amends with Park Manager’s Conference for his efforts to save the park and Episode 6 saw a hilarious thievery that happens at the restaurant where Abby works and the Tillermans visit her. The next episode is about Molly organizing her first Teen Slumber party and having a rift with Paige.
The story then evolves to show Cole’s run-in with a racist lady and in Episode 9, Paige has two writing deadlines and Molly has a school kickball tournament she’s trying to avoid. Episode 10 showcased parents looking for K-pop concert tickets for their kids. Episode 11 will be about Fista Puffs trying to straighten her hair but it’s yet to air.

Central Park Season 3 Plot
Since it’s an animated musical comedy, each episode has 4 songs in it, being included in the storyline of the episode and all of them are funny and entertaining, trying to showcase the character’s feelings through a song.
The show tries to show the uniqueness of each character. Owen is a dorky park manager who cares for the park immensely and has the support of his family too. Paige is a journalist who mostly writes fluff pieces but wants to write a proper story and publish her own book.
Cole is an animal lover, and emotional boy whereas Molly loves art and comics and is often drawing about herself and the guy who’s her crush. Along with the Tillerman, the show has made brilliant characterization of Bitsy and Helen. Bitsy is an elderly heiress who plots and wants to have Central Park, to earn more money. Helen is her frustrated assistant who’s being ordered, often irrationally, by Bitsy to get things going or to find a way to own the park.
The show was amazing with relationships among the characters too. Tillermans are a loving family. The relationship between Molly and Cole is so sibling-like and hilarious, it’s very real. The same is the amazing and hilarious back-and-forth between Bitsy and Helen. The show is written well and it’s no wonder it has won and been nominated for many accolades.
In season 3 we see recurring mayor-changes-related themes with Bitsy trying to buy them, and Tillerman family all about trying to save the park.
