So the story begins with a woman named Jo who seemingly lives a perfect life with her partner and enjoys every bit of it. She works as a Danish interpreter. Everything goes well until she has a fall in her house that seriously injures her head and erases the memory of a complete year. Events come flashing in her memory as she discovers that the life she thought of as perfect is everything but perfect. When she comes home after developing amnesia from her seemingly loving and caring husband,  she discovers a series of lies and that her phone is missing which makes her realize that the reality is not what it seems.

With time, she discovers different pieces of events in her flashbacks as it is revealed that she had an illicit affair with the boyfriend of her pregnant daughter and wonders whether her husband was aware of this or not. Her visit to her fathers. the house reveals a lot more memories than ever. She discovers her father is suffering from dementia the visit reveals to her that nothing is at the place.

Moreover one year before the accident and Jo’s memory loss, it is revealed that Rib was not happy with his marriage and both were on divorce terms with each other as Rob was facing some financial crisis and needed some emotional support at the moment from his loved ones which was sadly not given by Jo as she was busy in her wonderworld with her illicit boyfriend. She even discovers that she had been caught up in a web of lies and everybody around her told her nothing but lies.

She grows suspicious of rob and her childhood memories keep flashing by. After suffering from endless nightmares she takes the help of a support group but it goes all wrong. Her son appears in her house and she discovers a conflict that she had forgotten. She is caught in a web of lies until the truth behind her fall is revealed at the end. Who is behind her fall? Was it an accident or a well-staged destruction plan? These are the questions that remain in the minds of the viewer till the end and the questions remain unanswered.
