Cursed season 2 is an American fantasy drama streaming television series. it is inspired by a novel of the same name, written by Frank Miller and Tom Wheeler. The series was released on 17 July 2020 on Netflix. The first season comprised 10 episodes.

The show, ‘Cursed’ is described as a story Of Arthurian legend, narrated through the eyes of Nimue, who is a young heroine. Nimue is destined to be the powerful lady of the lake. The story is set in a location situated in the United Kingdom. In July 2021, we heard that the show had been canceled after its first season. The show holds an IMDb rating of 5.6/10 which was not that great. But there’s a surprise for all its fans, Cursed season 2 might come up soon.

Cursed season 2 Cast

cursed season 2 is here. Yes, you read it right. We are expecting Cursed season 2 soon. But we do not know who is going to be a part of season 2. We can get to see a few old characters along with a few new characters as well.

There are a few characters who are expected to be seen in the new season-

Katherine Langford was seen as Nimue, who is the narrator of the story of Cursed. She was a young woman who was debarred from entering her village because the villagers believed her to be “Cursed”. Her village was slaughtered by “The Red Paladin”, but she was lucky and managed to escape from the village. Nimue struggles a lot as she decided to save her people from getting killed by The Red Paladins. Later she recognizes her magical power which she embraces later and came to be known as, “Wolf-Blood-Witch”, and eventually called Fey Queen.

Devon Terell saw as Arthur, as a sellsword, and later becomes the lover of Nimue. He struggles to rise from the shadow of dishonor and debts left after the death of his father. Eventually, he gains family honor on his journey of the show with Nimue.

Gustaf Skarsgard plays the role of Merlin who once was a magician. He is the closest friend and advisor to Uther Pendragon. He tried to destroy the magical Sword of Power but later realizes that iy still exists as it contains some dark magic.

Daniel Sharman is portrayed as Weeping Monk/ Lancelot, who was the most powerful warrior in the army of Zealots. He manages to track Fey and helped the Paladins to catch Fey, wherever she goes.

Sebastian Armisho is known as King Uther, a powerful but deluded king. He used Merlin’s counsel as a crutch and then eventually realizes that he can no longer do magic. He seeks the Sword of Power, which will help him claim the Pendragon throne.

Lily Newmark, seen as Pym, the closest friend of Nimue also manages to escape from the village during its destruction by the Red Paladins. She was saved by Dof.

Peter Mullan plays the role of father Carden, who is the leader of The Red Paladins. He was the one spreading rumors about Fey being a demon and leading Paladins to hunt Fey. He manipulates Weeping Monk/Lancelot into hunting Fey.

Bella Dayne saw as Red Spear. She is the Queen of Red Spear of Pirate Raiders and the exiled daughter of Cumber who later in the show becomes an ally of Fey.

Shalom Brune Franklin is seen as Sister Igraine/Morgana, Arthur’s estranged sister. She was sent to a convent for higher education and as she grew up, she becomes the greatest human ally of the Fey. She gives shelter to Nimue for a time before she becomes the Fey Queen

Matt Stokoe is seen as the Green Knight/Gawain, an old friend of Nimue. He is the one who works to rescue the Fey Queen from her persecution.

Cursed season 2 Plot

It is still very unclear about the release of Cursed season 2, we do not know if it’s going to come or not. But if it comes, the story revolves around the man Arthur who is a legend which is narrated by his lady love, Nimue. After the death of Nimue’s mother, Nimue finds a partner in Arthur. In season 1 Nimue was seen as a minor character who was narrating the story but in season 2, she is going to be the lead character as she comes to the forefront.

In general, we see, generally, all the stories are narrated by the men but here it is the same. In Cursed the narrator is a woman. Cursed season 2 is going to be about Nimue, her life, and the way she faces all the problems being a woman in society. The Cursed season 2 is about the growth and evolution of Nimue from being a girl to a woman.

Cursed Season 1 Ending

While having a relationship with Arthur, Nimue convinces him to lead the Fey. The widow is confronted by Morgana, saying that she has been cursed by the dark gods. Later Nimue trusts Morgana and gives her the Sword of Power before she leaves the city so that Morgana can keep it safely. Fey handed himself to Uther as payment after reaching the harbor safely.

Arthur and Fey are attacked by Cumber’s army. Fey exchanges the Sword of Power in demand of releasing Gawain but later when she finds out that Gawain is dead, she lost her calm and lashes out at Cumbers. The Weeping Monk rescues the squirrel and flew away.

Morgana saves Nimue from Paladins by killing him with a gunshot to his head. Morgana, Nimue, and Merlin flew to Uther’s camp. Apparently, Nimue dies and Morgana and Merlin escape after taking the Sword. Squirrel reveals that she is Percival and Weeping Monk is Lancelot.
