Ichiro Suzuki is a 29-year-old historic sports programmer who works endlessly. He works day and night, including at the weekends. One day, he is working when he suddenly drops unconscious. After he wakes up, he finds himself in a world that looks a lot like the video game he had been working on. Soon he is met with a crew of lizardmen who begin beating him. He uses his knowledge to play this game in the best way possible. Accidentally, he kills a god while using “Meteor Rain” to attack the lizardmen.  However, this increases his stats significantly.

In the New World, Ichiro goes by the name Satou Pendragon which is the nickname he used while running beta tests in the old world. As soon as he realises the great danger he is in, he becomes determined to find his way out of the game. In his journey, he meets several people like Zina Marienteil, Pochi, Liza, Tama, Arisa and Lulu.
