Diabolik Lovers is a Japanese animated television series based on a visual novel franchise developed by Rejet. It was first released through the medium of a video game on PlayStation. Later there were anime, manga, fan books, etc were adapted from the visual novel. Shinobu Tagashira directed Diabolik Lovers animated television series. It aired on AT-X from September 2013 to December 2013. A second season of the anime adaptation aired from September 2015 to December 2015. Since the release of the first season of Diabolik Lovers, the fans are waiting for the release of Diabolik Lovers Season 3.

The story of Diabolik Lovers is centred on a teenage girl, Yui Komori. Her life was normal and peaceful until her father, who was a priest went overseas for some work. Yui was sent to a new place and was completely unaware of her surroundings. She arrived at an empty mansion and found nobody there. She later discovered six young men residing in the mansion who were vampires. The story then showcased to us the twists and turns in her life after discovering the truth about vampires. 

Zexcs Studio developed this two-season anime television series. It’s been more than seven years since the end of Diabolik Lovers Season 2. Even after such a long gap, the fans are still demanding Diabolik Lovers Season 3. She originated from a dark past and it was the reason why the brothers were drawn to her blood. 
• Shuu Sakamaki voiced by Ty Mahany. He was the eldest son of the Sakamaki family and the master of the mansion in which Yui was supposed to reside. Shuu loved music and was always found doing something with his music. He was a lethargic character and despite being the eldest, he never cared for his brothers.
• Reiji Sakamaki voiced by David Wald. He was the second son of the Sakamaki family. He was completely different from Shuu. Although he was seen as gentle and calm but he had an arrogant nature in his past. He regrets then for his past actions and solely took the blame on himself. He mostly fulfilled the duties of Shuu.
• Ayato Sakamaki voiced by Chris Patton. Ayato was the third son of Sakamaki family. He didn’t receive love and affection from his mother and as a result, he was rude and overconfident. He felt awkward when he first encountered Yui. But later it was seen that Ayato was developing feelings for Yui Komori but the show never focused on their relationship properly.
• Karnato Sakamaki voiced by Corey Hartzog. Karnato was the fourth son of the Sakamaki family. He was isolated and didn’t open up easily. He was the only one who saw the shady character of her mother. 
• Laito Sakamaki voiced by Blake Shephard. Laito was the fifth son of the Sakamaki family. His relationship with his mother was quite complicated and difficult to understand. He didn’t have any sense of love due to his mother’s actions. He had a phobia of insects, especially spiders. He was highly dangerous and it was preferred to avoid interacting with him.
• Subaru Sakamaki voiced by Josh Grelle. He was the youngest of the Sakamaki brothers. He never cared about his surroundings and was happy alone. His mother went mentally unstable after giving birth to him. He loved to damage things. Subaru was developing romantic feelings for Yui but he suppressed the feelings whenever they struck him.

These are the few characters who are anticipated to reprise their roles in Diabolik Lovers Season 3. Other than these, there might also be some new characters and a few from the Mukami and Tsukinami families.

Diabolik Lovers Season 3 Plot Speculation 

There is no official synopsis or brief which could take us to a sneak peek of the Diabolik Lovers Season 3 storyline. It is unlikely that we might see a new season for this mysterious anime television series. 

Yui Komori was the female lead of the show but the anime didn’t focus on her completely. It showed us the dark past of the Sakamaki brothers which related to the presence of Yui in the mansion. Yui was seen unraveling mysteries ever since the day she entered that mansion.

Without any precise detail or information, it would be irrational to predict any kind of storyline for Diabolik Lovers Season 3. All we can assume is that it might have a new adventure for Yui and Sakamaki brothers.
