Dorohedoro is a Japanese anime series adapted from the manga of the same name written and illustrated by Q Hayashida. Dorohedoro Season 2 Release Date
Although there has been no official announcement on the release date of Dorohedoro Season 2, seeing the love it received from the audience, there is a high chance that Dorohedoro Season 2 is under production. The Dorohedoro Magna has been fully published and has a total of 23 volumes. Dorohedoro season 1 covered only about one-third of the Magna story leaving enough material for another season. Since season one has high ratings on IMBD and Rotten Tomatoes, a Dorohedoro Season 2 is most likely to happen.
The anime’s production studio, Mappa, is working on high-end projects like Attack on Titan so it will be safe to assume that Dorohedoro Season 2 will not be released before 2023. Remember, there has been no news on the cancellation of the project, so it’s only fair to not give up our hope for Dorohedoro Season 2 yet.
Dorohedoro Story
With an IMBD rating of 8.1, the anime is set in a post-apocalyptic world. Our protagonist, the Caiman, lives in the Hole – a city inhabited by humans and heavily polluted and poisoned by Sorcerers who make humans their “lab rats” and mercilessly practice their black arts on them. Caiman is a victim of one such experiment which has left him with a reptile’s head and no memory of his former life. We follow him on his journey along with his friend Nikaido, as they try to undo the spell. If this wasn’t interesting enough, Caiman, due to some mysterious reason,is unaffected by any Sorcerers’ magic, making him a target for the head sorcerer, En.
