The story of the anime is sure to be around from where it had been left within the previous season. The new season will have the introduction of new characters, monsters, and villains with not a new plot to proceed with but a new adventure with the same characters and some new characters if you’ve followed along with the manga, you know that the next storyline features the Galactic Patrol Prisoner arc, which introduces a new creepy goat-head villain.

Whatever it is, we can be sure of one thing, adventure, action, fantasy, all packed together in a power-packed performance. Tou is surely aware of the impact his show created on the audience, so we can be sure about him trying to add some new spice up completely with a bang that will knock us off our senses. The series left off after the Universal Survival arc. The current saga in the “Dragon Ball Super” manga is Granola the Survivor, featuring the only survivor of a race that the Saiyan army wiped out.

The series’ plot begins showing the aftermath of the Majin Buu Saga, then proceeds to retell and alter the stories of Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods and Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection ‘F’ as new story arcs.

Six months after the defeat of Majin Buu with peace returning to earth again, the mighty Saiyan Son Goku continues his quest to become stronger. Goku who is now a radish farmer lives a peaceful life with his friends. However, peace doesn’t last long as there comes a threat to the world with the arrival of Beerus, the God of destruction. He is considered to be the most terrifying and dangerous being found in the entire universe and just like every other monster has a mission.

He wishes to fight the legendary warrior seen in a prophecy foretold decades ago known as the Super Saiyan God. The war of the tournament also has Goku and friends participating in it to defeat the god. Goku, Frieza, and Jiren are eliminated at the end. The tournament finally ends with Android 7 finally emerging as the winner for universe 7.

As a result, he gets rewarded with a wish from Super Dragon Balls. He doesn’t forget his mission to save the world and as a result, restores the erased universes.

The series revisits the tale from the two Dragon Ball Z films, Battle of Gods and Resurrection ‘F’ before moving onwards to an original story about the exploration of alternate universes. The viewers already know that the show takes place four years after the final events of the Majin Buu saga in “Dragon Ball Z.
