Extracurricular Synopsis
Extracurricular is a psychological-thriller youth drama that depicts the story of high school students. Oh-Ji Soo, Bae Gyu Ri, Kwak Ki Tae, and Seo Min-Hee are four friends who agree to conduct an unlawful business to earn some money. After committing an unforgivable act Ji Soo starts doing criminal activities. Later, Gyu Ri and Min-Hee convince him to join all the operations. Min-Hee is seen as the school bully. Ki Tae is dating Min-Hee who is also the most popular guy in the school. They run a security service for prostitutes ensuring all the women are safe and finding new clients for their business.
Despite being a high school drama, it is nothing like a regular K-drama that would work as a remedy for us. The drama shows the ugly life of Teenagers life as they commit crimes for money and get stuck in the business ruining their life.
Ji Soo is Exposed
Gi-taes and his gang are interrogated by police after Mr Lee and Dae-yeol are killed at the Banana Club karaoke bar. This is where police begin to link the criminal organisation to the high school. Later, Mr Cho is taken for questioning as secret stash of money is found in the counselling office.
At the same time,Gi-tae confronts Min-hee and talk about her involvement in the business as she realizes Ji-soo is directly involved with the same service. Min-hee refuses disclose any information but Da-yeol’s fiancé who exposes Ji-soo , who the head of the business.Min-hee confronts Ji-soo and explains him how he did not have any bad intentions but she records the confession.
In the very next scene we see Min-hee on the floor with her head cracked open. Ji-soo steals her phone and runs away instead of calling for an ambulance. All we see is blood flowing the stairs while we do not know if she fell or was pushed.
Gi-Tae gets mad and stabs Ji-soo with a pair of scissors. The wound looks deep as we see blood starting to drip through his hoodie. Gyuri knocks him out when he tries to stab him again. Ji-soo loses a lot of blood. They leave a red trail of blood as they try to escape, we almost assume they would get caught by the police, Ji-soo, and Gyuri vanishes.
Extracurricular Season 2 What to Expect?
