The show concluded with only a single season and since then the fans are anticipating the release of Extraordinary You Season 2.
The series is centred on a high school girl, Eun Dan-oh. Dan-oh was leading a peaceful life until she discovered a shocking truth. Extraordinary You was based on July Found By Chance written by Moo Ryuyee. The story of this Korean drama was somewhat similar to what we have seen in Ryan Reynolds’ movie, Free Guy. But they are very distinguishable from each other.

- Kim Hye-yoon as Eun Dan-oh. Dan-oh is a beautiful high school girl and an extra character in the comic, Secret. She belonged to a wealthy family and was the only daughter who had been operated on multiple times due to heart disease. She was engaged to her long-time crush, Kyung. However, she discovered the truth of her reality and realised that her world is fictional and existed in a comic book. She then forged on a way to write her own destiny.
- Rowoon as Student Number 13 / Ha-ru. He was a student at the same school, Seuli High School as Dan-oh. He was also an extra character in Secret. He was designated as Student Number 13 until he met Dan-oh. Dan-oh gave him the name Ha-ru and both of them developed romantic feelings for each other.
- Lee Jae-wook as Baek Kyung. He was also a student at Seuli High School. He was arrogant and rude and was one of the main characters of the comic, Secret. He was engaged with Dan-oh but he disliked her because their families arranged their marriage. When Dan-oh and Ha-ru were in a close relationship, he was seen as envious of Ha-ru and later developed feelings for Dan-oh when she was with Ha-ru.
- Lee Na-eun as Yeo Joo-da. She was the female main character of Secret. Joo-da was a beautiful girl who belonged to a poor family. She was calm and had a kind heart.
- Jung Gun-joo as Lee Do-hwa. He was the second male main character of Secret. He had an impressive skill in music. He always isolated himself and found happiness while he was alone. He felt for Do-hwa but kept it secret since Nam-joo liked her.
- Kin Young-dae as Oh Nam-joo. He was the male main character of Secret. He also had feelings for Joo-da and was in a love triangle with Do-hwa.
Extraordinary You Season 2 Plot Speculation
