Fairy Tail Season 10 is a fantasy anime series filled with action and adventure. It is adapted from the same-titled manga written by Hiro Mashima. The anime series is produced by A-1 Pictures and Satelight. It is directed by Shinji Ishihira. It is known as Fear Teiru in Japan.
Fairy Tail has won several awards like – The best Japanese Anime Award and Best French Dubbing Award at the 19th Anime & Manga Grand Prix in 2012. It also won the Animax Asia’s Anime of the Year Award in 2010.
The first season of Fairy Tail was released on 12th October 2009. The series’ ninth season was aired on 7th October 2018. After running for 51 episodes, the last season ended on 29th September 2019. The ninth season was the last season of the anime series. The creators aren’t interested in continuing the series anymore because everything has been covered in the show properly. Fairy Tail Season 10 Plot
The anime is set in a mythical place called Earth Land, home to wizards, guilds, and all sorts of creatures. In this world, magic is common and people use it for everything- traveling, combating, and daily tasks.
Fairy Tail is a guild that stands apart from the rest of the world. They value strength, spirit, and family. The series follows the story of Lucy Heartfilia, a young mage who is searching for the heavenly door keys. She desires to become a popular wizard by joining this renowned guild- Fairy Tail. In her mission, she meets Natsu Dagneel. Natsu, along with his cat, Happy is on a mission to hunt his father who is a mythical dragon called Igneel. He is looking for him everywhere in the Kingdom of Fiore.
When she gets kidnapped by a stranger, Natsu comes to save her. There, he reveals he is a part of Fairy Tail and invites her to join him. Lucy meets other guild members- Gray Fullbuster, who is an ice wizard, and Ezra Scarlet who is a wizardry swordswoman.
Banded together, they fight against evil powers meanwhile trying to help people in desperate need of it. On their journey, they also gain new companions. Wendy Marvell and Carla are also viewed as members of the guild. The group tries to track down criminals, battle the illegal dark guilds, and fight ancient demons that are created by Zeref, an immortal dark wizard.
They get a chance to meet Zeref eventually. The group also fights an evil black dragon Acnologia, despite its power and ruthlessness. While fighting this evil dragon, Natsu’s father appears who was hidden in Natsu’s body. Unfortunately, his father gets killed by this ruthless and wicked dragon.
As Zeref and Acnologia are on the loose, getting more powerful each day, Natsu and his group members must fight them with everything they have got.
Fairy Tail Season 10 Release Date
There are no official announcements related to the tenth season since the previous season pretty much concluded the show. The ninth season was officially the last, biding us goodbye after 326 episodes of adventure. If Hiro Mashima writes anything new, we might get some news about the series. The show was addictive and the fans are disappointed that it has all come to an end.
Fairy Tail Season 10 Previous Season Recap
The previous season which was also the last season was divided into two story arcs. The first seven episodes follow the “Avatar” arc adapting the material from the final chapter of the 49th volume to the 51st volume. The remaining episodes cover the “Alvarez” arc depicting the guild’s war with the Alvarez Empire.
The show ended by answering every possible question. If the creators ever decide to release a new season, it might be based on a completely new and different plot. But it’s assured that the series will be an inspiration for upcoming anime series.
