Jin Ha Kyung is a smart, well-organised person who follows all the rules and is meticulous about keeping her personal and work lives separate. She has an icy personality at work, she doesn’t have many friends and is almost like an outsider. On the other hand, Lee Si Woo is amiable and thinks outside the box. He has an awkward demeanour but can achieve anything he puts effort into. He has an IQ of 150 and is intelligent and talented yet all he seems to care about is the weather.
Jin Ha Kyung finds out about her fiance, Han Ki-Jun’s unfaithfulness to another worker at the company, Chae Yoo-Jin. Interestingly, Yoo-Jin has just ended her relationship with Si-Woo, who gets transferred to Ha-Kyung’s department. Due to her heartbreak, Ha-Kyung finds solace in Si-Woo. They navigate through their relationship in a tough environment while having different personalities and opinions.

In the last episode, Si-Woo’s father gets in trouble with the cops but Si-Woo informs them that his father has late-stage cancer. Ha-Kyung notices Si-Woo crying and tries to console him but he mentions how they are not in a relationship and rejects her care.
Ki-Jun and Yoo-Jin rush to the hospital thinking a miscarriage happened but instead they find out that Yoo-Jin’s pregnancy is safe. They talk about having a baby and Ki-Jun is confident that they can raise a child together.
Um Dong-Han apologises to his wife for missing his daughter’s birthday and gets ready for a divorce. But his wife scolds him and says that he had three months to change and is now trying to leave instead of making things right. She expects loyalty from him and they mend their wounds to start healing their relationship.
Ha-Kyung announces in the office that she and Si-Woo are not in a relationship anymore. Ki-Jun tells Ha-Kyung about how much Si-Woo adores her and admits to her that they are perfect for each other and should not stay separated. Si-Woo’s father also tells him how he should not leave Ha-Kyung. Si-Woo and his father mend their relationship and Si-Woo asks him to stay.
Ha-Kyung’s mother tells her that Si-Woo broke up with her because he didn’t want to feel like a burden on her. But Ha-Kyung doesn’t want to get back together with Si-Woo if he wants to stay broken up. Ha-Kyung’s mother tells both Si-Woo and her how life is too short to give up on someone you love. In the end, Ha-Kyung and Si-Woo realise their feelings and get back together.
