Seasons 1 and 2 were developed by Niah Pink and Ben Killer and the third season was developed by Suzan Lori Parks. The series has gathered around 20 Emmy nominations with three wins. Not only that, it has been awarded several other awards as well.

This time the series is going to be focusing on 2 subjects, unlike previous seasons where they focused on one subject. The story will be about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was an American leader who led the campaign for civil rights. In his series, you will see how Dr. King spirited millions of people to fight for equality and rights. Malcolm X was a human rights activist and American Muslim Minister born in 1925. He was also a supporter of black Nationalism. The cast has not been confirmed yet but Kelvin Harrison Jr. and Aaron Pierre are said to be playing the character of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Malcolm X. Genius Season 4 Release Date
The release date has not been confirmed by the makers yet. However, the expected release is around the end of 2022 or the beginning of 2023. The first season got released in 2017, and the second got released in 2018. The third season got released in 2021 after two years of gap due to the pandemic and other reasons.
Fans have predicted the release to be in December 2022. Nothing has been confirmed yet but the release date can get out anytime soon.
