Ghost wars season 2 is an american horror series created by Canadian screenwriter, director and film and Television producer Simon Barry who is known for creating Television series such as Continuum, Van helsing and Warrior Nun. The series contains a total number of 13 episodes and in which the series explores genres like drama, action, paranormal and horror. The series was created for ‘Syfy’, an american Television channel owned by NBCUniversal Television and Streaming broadcasts for programmes which come under the genres of science fiction, horror, fantasy, and aired from october 5 of 2017 to January 4 in 2018.
And later the series was brought and presented as a Netflix series in 2019. The 13 episodes consisted series was directed by a team of directors which includes creator Simon Barry himself and Mathias Heindal, David von aucken, Leslie hope, Michael Nankin, Jason priestley and one of the protagonists actress Kristin lehman herself.
Ghost Wars Season 2 About
The series Ghost wars is set in Port Moore, a rural region of Alaska which is a part of the USA in the north located near to the Northern polar region and Russia. The town, one day experienced an earthquake which left with some physical damages as well as unleashes some supernatural occurrences such as paranormal confrontations and mysterious deaths. No one knows who is behind these deaths and how these incidents are happening.
The story develops through when the central protagonist character is Roman Mercer who is an outsider and also he is haunted by the past memories of him which made him get an ability, a supernatural ability to see dead people face to face. He must overcome his weakness and find a way as soon as possible to save the Port moore town from a mass extinction and threats which are caused by these supernatural events. And to be clear the series is about a war between ghosts and people from avoiding extinction.
Ghost Wars Season 2 Plot
The series Ghost war is set in a rural region in Alaska, Port Moore. When one day the region is faced by an earthquake, from that point of time since the next moment of the earthquake, where people from each and every age have been confronting some kind of Paranormal and supernatural powers and which leads to mysterious deaths and events.
Roman, the titular character, who has an ability to see and hear dead people. He was actually about to leave the Port Moore town but his plans were destroyed when the earthquake hit the town and made the bridge which was the only connecting part between the outer world and the town. Roman, the ability of him to see dead people and this time he got to see dead people which is far different from the ones which he had seen before. They are now angrier and creepier in behavior, not just the same as before.
The neighbors as well as people in the town who were bullied and harassed Roman for his unique powers have now approached him to save them from the wandering ghosts and deaths.The only one person who believed in Roman and his words is the Deputy Sheriff of the Port Moore town named Norman. Apart from Roman, there are two more characters in the series who have the same ability which Roman has to see and hear dead people,they are Abigail and Isabel- the twin daughters of the city mayor Van Dufrense.
But their potential is an outcome of the aftermath events which was caused by the earthquake in Alaska but for Roman it was a part of his past life in which he shares a connection with his mother.
In which both the reason and the solution to figuring the problems of him is pointing towards his mother Nadeen Mercer. His visions and communication with the spirits, Roman finally became befriended with a deceased character Maggie Rennie who welcomes him to be part of a horrifying revelation. Which makes him understand the secrets behind events which happen in the town.And by this he has to figure out the solutions for ending these haunting paranormal activities along with his own demons and past events. The series is moving forwards with different storylines and in the end everything comes to the one exact point which is how these horrifying events are connected with the town and its people.

Ghost Wars Season 2 Release Date
The series itself is very tending towards discussing and delivering a horrifying and at the same time science fictional moods and content. And as well as there different elements which has to consider carefully and need to elaborate but they didn’t such as Roman’s past for example. And it was sure that it will make a good season. But according to the latest reports from Syfy, Netflix and from the creator Simon beary in April 21st of 2018, they cancelled the show after the first season because of low rate.
