Girls5eva is an American comedy series about four girls who were part of a band called Girls5eva in the 90s. The band consisted of five members in total, the fifth member of the band, Ashley passed away in 2004. The girls in their young days aspired to be famous as part of the band but failed in the process, fast forward to the present time are around their 30s with their own life and family. One of their songs is recognized by a young rapper and he samples the song and all the girls are yet again gathered for a reunion, except Ashley.
In season one the girls spend their time getting ready for their first gig in so many years, they set up a live concert and go through many photoshoots and practice. The viewers loved the first season with its amazing storyline, songs, and comedy scenes just as much as a sitcom would include. Since the rating was a 7.1 rating of IMDb the creators decided on a second season with the expectation of an even higher rating.

They face several problems like their creepy producer Larry and Gloria end up with a fatal injury which needs surgery and rest for 12 weeks, they pick themselves up through everything and go on with their promotional concerts and music videos for their album release.
