Heaven Official’s Blessing Season 1 Ending Explained

Heaven Official’s Blessing Season 1 ended with Xia Lian coming to heaven for the third time where he meets a ghost named Hua Cheng. After being with Hua Cheng for a long time, Xia Lian falls in love with him. He expresses his love for Hua Cheng and both start to live together. Xia Lian and Hua Cheng are currently in the Puqi Shrine. Both are sitting in a room and Hua Cheng calls him highness, Xia feels as if he’s being treasured. Xie Lian asks Hua Cheng if he can see his original look, but then apologizes since a Supreme ghost wouldn’t show their true self.

The ghost realm is less riding than the heavens. At night they slept and when the next morning Xia woke up, all he sees is Silver Necklace on his neck and Hua Cheng is nowhere to be found. The season had a tragic end which makes us all expect a season 2 for the revelation of where Hua went.

Heaven Official’s Blessing Season 2 Plot revolves around Xie Lian the Crown Prince of the Xian Le kingdom. The story is set eight hundred years ago. He was such a darling and was loved by everyone in the kingdom. Everyone believed in him. He was a great ruler. He ascended to the Heavens at a young age; however, due to unfortunate circumstances, was quickly banished back to the mortal realm. Years later, he came back again to take over his throne but was banished again in minutes.

Now, after eight hundred years later, Xie Lian comes back to heaven for the third time to take over his kingdom. This is the laughing stock among all three realms. After coming to heaven, he was given his first task where he meets a mysterious ghost who rules the ghosts and terrifies the Heavens. He was unaware of the fact that the mysterious ghost has been keeping an eye on him for a very long time. He retains his good-hearted nature and only wishes to fulfill his duties as a god.

His task was to find out the mystery of many brides who went disappeared from their wedding processions through Mount Yujun in the mortal world. While doing so he met with a youthful ghost who had silver butterflies and a rain of blood. After his completion of the assignment, bemused by an encounter he describes as “oddly charming to the extreme”. Later he realizes that he has met a Hua Cheng, or Crimson Rain Sought Flower who is known to be one of the four fearsome ghosts who were known as four great calamities.

Xie Lian continues to cross paths with the nonchalant and intelligent ghost king as he becomes increasingly enveloped in the affairs of the three realms of heaven, earth, and ghost. Xie Lian’s interaction with the ghost turns into a mutually protective relationship. Xie Lian expresses his feelings for Hua Cheng as Hua Cheng establishes himself as a steady fixture in his life. He had no idea that his past intertwined with him.
