From winning wars, to academic and scholarly achievements as well as curation of art and literature, you name it and all was done by the Lombardi family. Their might was such that they were the ones to crown the first emperor. But as their fame increased, the imperial family started to fear them and so they issued a decree that limited the Lombardi family’s powers.
So the Lombardi family decided to open a school from where people of various wealth and status got into empire administration and other positions on the basis of merit. Their students were everywhere in the empire, from military to administration to policymakers and ministers. This forced the king to pull back the degree.
Firentia’s father is a Lombardi but her mother was a commoner, a peasant. She was an illegitimate child but because her father loved her dearly, she retained the family name Lombardi as well.
Her mother died at birth during labour and her father also died when she was 8, after that she faced some problems but she still had her grandfather. When her grandfather became ill, she took care of him and started taking matters in her own hand. She studied about everything that she needed to, to know and run the family but when her grandfather expired, the Lombardi family kicked her out. They made the wrong head of the family who brought down the family name to ruins.
Watching this from afar, she fumed and complained to no one in particular.
One day while looking at the family mansion, she died from a carriage accident and suddenly woke up as her 7 year old self. With her memories intact, Tia decided that she’ll change things and become the head of the family, to save the Lombardi family name.

In chapter 80, a scared Tia tries to calm herself to prevent the crowning of the first prince as the head of the family. She takes deep breaths and tells herself that it has not happened yet and that she can change it.
She thinks back to the situation, of how the Viese, who’s the first crown prince has more people in favour of him. Viese’s wife, Selal, is the cousin of Empress Lavini. So, being related to the royal family of state definitely benefits Viese’s position and chances. But she also remembered from her past memories that the Second prince was made the head but people opposed it very much.Â
This created a big dilemma for Tia, who doesn’t want the First Prince to become the head or the second prince for now either. So she wonders if she herself should become the head for the time being. Having thought that, she decides that she will have to win her grandfather’s favour.
