Retsuko is a 25-year-old single red panda working in the accounting department of a Japanese company. Retsuko has a secret preference for bowing off the stress of her office by singing death metal at a local karaoke. Having pushy seniors and co-workers causes Retsuko to have everyday stress and frustrations which she relives by singing in her karaoke booth which she calls a sanctuary.

There, her demeanor completely changes opposite to what she’s like in her office. While singing the death metal heavy songs, she transforms into a crazy person having blue glowing eyes and her once soft head turns into a spiky mess. While singing the heavy metal songs, Retsuko becomes unladylike while chugging the beer straight from the bottle. Retsuko is introvert suffering from social anxiety, having unrealistic drams resulting in negatively impacting her as well as her surroundings. When coming across a new problem, Retsuko always tends to solve the issue on her own or gets trapped in a corner.
