The animated original series Little Demon made its debut on FXX on August 25. Every Wednesday at 10 p.m. ET/PT, a new episode of the show airs. The devil and his daughter’s tale was brought to life by executive producer Danny DeVito and co-creator of Rick and Morty Dan Harmon.
Little Demon Storyline
“It has been 13 years since being impregnated by Satan in FX’s Little Demon, an animated comedy featuring Danny DeVito and Aubrey Plaza’s voices. A reluctant mother named Laura and her Antichrist daughter Chrissy try to live a normal life in Delaware. The two, however, are frequently blocked by terrifying powers, such as Satan, who longs to have custody of his daughter’s soul.” Darcy Fowler, Seth Kirschner, and Korean Valla were the writers of the show.
On a rainy, gloomy night, a young pregnant woman is running through the woods. She is prepared to beat a demon to death with a hammer because she believes one is about to emerge from her. She then gives birth to a baby girl who appears to be normal.
Because they try to portray the devil as a charmer who can convince people to give up their souls, television shows with Satan as one of their primary characters frequently have a campy feel to them. Little Demon is somewhat unique.
Little Demon, with executive producers Dan Harmon, Danny DeVito, and Lucy DeVito, essentially tells the hilarious tale of a young child from a dysfunctional family who must now deal with the most bizarre co-parenting arrangement ever. Little Demon Plot
Chrissy Feinberg (Lucy DeVito) is being driven to her new school by her mother Laura 13 years later (Aubrey Plaza). Chrissy despises how frequently they’ve relocated because the middle of the school year is already challenging enough without her having to be the “new girl.” When Chrissy meets Bennigan (Eugene Cordero), a fellow uncomfortable teenager who invites her to a rager in a closed taco restaurant, things start rather well. She quickly leaves though because she is having her first period. She simultaneously witnesses two bullies threatening Bennigan.
As soon as she draws blood, her eyes turn dark, she tears a hole in the sky, and the bullies’ bodies suddenly burst into guts and bones. She ends up being the Antichrist.
When Laura was younger, she lacked maturity and lack of discernment, which led to her becoming pregnant by Satan (Danny DeVito). They had changed locations to keep him from locating Chrissy, but now that the first victim has been struck, he is certain of her location. Chrissy genuinely accepts Satan’s invitation to come to see him in the Metaphysical Realm rather than in Hell. Satan tells her, “It’s like Port Authority with much, much, much more urine and fewer bomb goodies.” But until she gets to know him more, she doesn’t want to accept his suggestion that they work together to combine all the realms into a more potent one.
Laura has gained a lot of knowledge about combating Satan in the thirteen years since she gave birth to Chrissy. She dons her tattooed, buff birthday suit, stuffs some necessities up her cervix, and transfers her essence there, much to Chrissy’s disapproval. She ultimately decides to attend the party, where she must contend with a demon hunter (Michael Shannon) who is trying to eliminate her.
Little Demon Release Date
The Little Demon official trailer lays the groundwork for Chrissy to discover her true nature as the Antichrist. As if junior high wasn’t difficult enough as it is. FX’s latest animated comedy Little Demon comes from the co-creator of Rick and Morty. Growing up may be annoying, particularly if your father is the devil.
