Love In Contract Storyline
With more fun and hilarious gigs, here is another contract marriage trope. (MAJOR SPOILERS AHEAD!!) Sang Eun who’s the (adopted) daughter of the Eena group, whose sole purpose was to become a perfect wife. As soon as she grew up, she was sent to a foreign country for bridal training. When she came back, she was made to marry KangJin chaebol’s elder son. But she broke off the marriage as well as all relationships with her adopted family.
Her caretaker Mi Ho, whose job was to make her perfect bride, was fired for not fulfilling the project. The two women hate each other but Sang Eun still feels responsible for her misery, so she keeps sending her money. Ji Ho is a very antisocial man, who doesn’t talk much and has a past of his own. He doesn’t talk much but the show later reveals how he was a lovable boy but after his parent’s death, he was living with his aunt.
His aunt with good intentions told him not to expect too much to not get hurt and not to reveal too much about himself. That affected the young Ji Ho, so he became closed off. But the last nail in the coffin was when his ex-wife divorced him and asked for alimony. He was broken and started keeping to himself.
Kang Hae Jin is a Hallyu star who hates rich people. He is himself a chaebol, whose mother was the second wife of his father. His step-brothers don’t want him to join the company to not have competition. He was there when his older brother was to be married to the Eena group but Sang Eun broke the wedding off. Hae Jin was left in awe of her, as she broke away from her family, he heard her nickname was Jamie and fell in love with her. He even named her cat Jamie and loves it a lot, thus he can’t date many people.

The queen of rom-com and very beautiful Park Min Young, who’s the finest choice and has very famous dramas on her list, like “Healer,” “City Hunter,” “What’s Wrong With Secretary Kim” and “Sungkyunkwan Scandal.” She plays the character of Choi Sang Eun, a trophy wife on contract.
Go Kyung Pyo, who rose to fame through “Jealousy Incarnate,” “Reply 1988” and “Chicago Typewriter,” plays Jung Ji Ho, a very mysterious man who barely talks and keeps his secret to himself. He has had a long contractual marriage with Choi Sang Eun, for Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.
The Hallyu star who’s also secretly a chaebol, Kang Hae Jin, is played by Kim Jae Young. He’s famous for “100 Days My Prince” and “Secret Romance.”

Love In Contract Release Date
The drama released its first episode on September 21, 2022, and each new episode is further released on Wednesday and Thursday according to KST time zone, 22:30.
It has 16 episodes, out of which episodes 13 and 14 have been released already. The last two episodes will air on 9 and 10 November 2022 respectively.
Love In Contract Plot
Sang Eun is a professional wife-for-hire, who’s had an illustrious career of marrying for contract services to help out single men, who need a temporary wife. She uses her skill as a perfect wife, to make people jealous, put her clients’ friends in check when they question, get the family to not pressure the man for marriage, etc. She charges a fee for all that and registering the marriage needs an extra fee.
Her best friend is one of her former clients, Kwang Nam, who is gay and had to show that he has a wife of family problems. She helped him for no fee and they ended up being great friends. Their dream is to earn enough to go to Canada. In comes, Ji Ho who’s a judge, who is initially a very creepy character but is actually just antisocial. He has been Sang Eun’s longest client, a contractual marriage that has been going on for 5 years.
They both have feelings for each other but are very hesitant to pursue them. Hae Jin struggles with his family issues, stalker fans, and rumors surrounding him. Sang Eun is his first love and when he moves the floor above Ji Ho, he meets Sang Eun and Ji Ho. He thinks Ji Ho is a serial killer and tries to warn Sang Eun. He later discovers that they’re in a contract marriage and also becomes a client of Sang Eun. Ji Ho gets to be the husband on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday while Hae Jin gets Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Love In Contract drama airs on tvN, which is a cable network and has lesser reach than prime tv shows in South Korea. Some of the best Kdramas have aired on this cable network.
