Luke Cage Season 3 is in talks now. It’s not so long after the acclaimed and award-winning superhero production house Marvel Cinematic Universe which is better known to be MCU has decided to shift their ‘The DEFENDERS’ franchise from Netflix to Disney+ earlier in March of this year. The Defenders characters include Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Iron fist, and Luke cage based on the Marvel comics. Luke cage is considered one of the most important characters and strongest defenders of this franchise and that led Netflix and Marvel Cinematic Universe to produce an independent series honoring the New York-based superhero.

Marvel’s Luke cage is widely considered one of the best shows so far by Marvel Entertainment had produced for a particular streaming service.

What Is Luke Cage Season 3 Storyline?

Luke Cage, an American television series is based on the extraordinary life story of Luke cage an ordinary man who lives in the province of Harlem in New York City, who was convinced himself earlier to share his body for an experiment in order to get himself release from a crime which he got involved. The series come under the genre of action, drama, neo-western, and superhero; which is based on Marvel’s comic book of the same name written by Archie Goodwin, George Tuska, Roy Thomas, and John Romita Sr.

The Marvel series was created by Cheo Hodari Coker who is better known in the world for his profession including Journalist, Writer, and Executive producer as well as his works NCIS: Los Angles, Southland, Ray Donovan, and the 2009 American biographical movie based on the life and death of Notorious B.I.G.

The Primetime Creative Arts Emmy award-winning series expresses a uniqueness from the other Television ventures of Marvel which includes the Defenders itself because of the accuracy in placing and using of 90’s Hip-Hop scores and the themes like Race and Black culture throughout the series.

Marvel’s Luke Cage is a pure continuation of ‘Jessica Jones season 1’ where the character Luke cage was introduced along with the titular character ‘Jessica Jones herself to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the first time. The Season 1 of the Luke Cage revolves around the events which happen in the life of Luke cage and his attempts to overcome the regretful events which took place in the past and its connection with Jessica Jones. The series now is plotted in Harlem an important part of the New York City where Luke Cage resides.

This primary season of Luke Cage is particularly a sneak peek into the past Luke, which includes how he became powerful and where this power came from etc. After living in the shadows for quite a long time now Luke cage is coming into the light to fight against the social evils including Mafias and corruption. When it comes to the Second season many unexpected events turned up in Luke’s life with the introduction of many new characters including the characters Mustafa Shakir and Gabrielle Dennis along with the primary characters. And Luke Cage is not living under the shadows anymore, by clearing his name he now becomes a superhero.

Marvel’s Luke cage is actually a series that consists of a total of 2 seasons which includes 26 episodes with 13 episodes in each season. The first season was out in the year 2016 soon after the release of Jessica Jones, the series about another powerful defender from New York City who works as a part-time detective.

And the second season came out in the year 2018. But the atmosphere got changed when Netflix decided to end the world of Luke cage with the second season even though there were scopes and stories to continue. That was the time when Marvel’s Iron fist another series from the defender franchise got released and the mightiest and strongest avenger who has every potential to shine and became a part of this new avengers has said goodbye to the global fans by his last appearance in the series ‘Jessica Jones’ one last time.

Ironically the introduction of the character Luke cage actually happened through Jessica Jones for the first time where he appeared as the love interest of the character.

But recently, soon after the new spider man movie, Spider-man: No way home got released; where the appearance of the attorney Matt Murdock had given the flames to the discussions on getting back the supercool neighborhood superheroes ‘The Defenders’ back on the silver screen again. And thus it’s the time for returning the Luke cage back to the action. Hopefully, the global fans can expect a big announcement from Marvel anytime soon by the end of 2022 or the beginning of 2023 according to the next sources.

The American superhero television series was shifted from Netflix to Disney+ after the 7 years long contract between Marvel entertainment earlier this year. From March 16, 2022, onwards the series is available for streaming worldwide on Disney+.
