Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story is an upcoming American mini-biographical true crime series based on the crimes done by Jeffrey Dahmer. Jeffrey Lionel Dahmer who was called Milwaukee Cannibal or Milwaukee Monster was an American serial killer, he targeted 17 men and boys and was murdered between the year 1978 to 1991, most being people of color and a few underaged. He murdered the victims and then either preserved the body parts, or involved necrophilia or cannibalism.
The series is not a documentary but it includes the real victims of all the killings Dahmer had committed. Although the series may be a sensitive subject to portray, the important objective of the series is to convey the acts of Dahmer and how they affected several people in society. The series will not have the story going accurately because of the cinematography perspective but the context of the storyline will be followed as per true events.

As per the announcements by Netflix few characters were revealed to star in the series, firstly Evan Peters, is an American actor widely famous for his roles in American Horror Story, Pose, and X Men, he has been previously nominated for the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited or Anthology Series or Movie, he plays the role of Jeffrey Dahmer in the series. Colin Ford is an American actor widely known for his roles in Daybreak, Under the Dome, Supernatural and We Bought a Zoo, he previously received the Young Artist Award for his voice acting in Jake and the Never Land Pirates, he plays the role of Chazz in the series.
Richard Jenkins is an American actor, who initially began his career by working in theater and later worked in several movies in supporting roles such as The Visitor, Step Brother, Berlin Station, The Shape of Water, and recently Nightmare Alley. Niecy Nash is an American actress and television host popular for her stage performances, she has starred in several shows such as The Soul Man, Clean House, Reno 911, and Claws. She has previously received the Daytime Emmy Award in the year 2010.
Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story Storyline
The series is about the most wanted criminal Jeffrey Dahmer, he was a serial killer in America between the years 1978-1991. During this period, he committed some horrifying and hideous crimes against 17 innocent men and handled each corpse in a different manner. Dahmer had several medical conditions such as personality disorder, psychotic disorder, and schizotypal personality disorder which were the cause of the crimes he committed yet he was found guilty in court.
In the series, viewers will be given the events which occurred with the victims and how Dahmer managed to escape from each crime, after 16 murders Dahmer was caught on his 17th murder. The series will include scenes of cannibalism, the unnatural desire of necrophilia and the other means of handling the corpses was to preserve particular parts of the body. As nauseous as it seems, Netflix has decided to turn the true story into a 10-episode series to convey the society about Dahmer’s psychotic crimes and the damage he caused to society.

As of now, there has not been any official announcement of the date of release but it is reported to release by the end of 2022.

The series has been directed by Carl Franklin, he is an American actor, producer, and director best known for his works in Five on the Black Hand Side, The Incredible Hulk, and The Streets of San Francisco. The producers of the series are Mathew Hart and Reilly Smith along with the executive producers Janet Mock, Alexis Martin Woodall, Eric Kovtun, Jen Issacson, and Leslie Mattinggly.
