Mountain Monsters Season 8 Ending Explained
Mountain Monsters ended its eighth and final season on Saturday night, and fans are still trying to figure out what happened. The popular cryptid-hunting show followed the exploits of the AIMS (Appalachian Investigators of Mysterious Sightings) team as they searched for creatures like the Mothman and the Beast of Buckskin in the Appalachian Mountains.
The season began with the team investigating reports of a creature known as the “Grassy Knoll Monster.” After capturing and killing the creature, they discovered that it was a human dressed in a costume. This led the team to believe that someone was trying to frame them for the killings. They then set out to find the real killer, which they eventually did.
The final episode of the season saw the team facing off against the killer, who turned out to be a member of their group.
While the show was always light on explanation and heavy on entertainment, the finale did give some answers as to what happened to the team. It turns out, they finally caught the creature they were after, and it looks like they’re retiring from the monster-hunting business.
What exactly happened in the end? Let’s take a look at the Mountain Monsters season 8 ending explanation. The AIMS team had been after the Buckinaw for years, and they finally caught it in the finale. The creature was responsible for a lot of the strange activity in the area, including the death of Willy McBride.
After the team caught the Buckinaw, they decided to retire from hunting monsters. Trapper decided to move away, while Buck and Huckleberry stayed in the area to run the AIMS team’s base camp.
So that’s the Mountain Monsters season 8 ending explanation. The AIMS team finally caught the creature they were after, and they’re now retired from the business.
