Muv-Luv Alternative Season 2, is inspired by a visual novel it is a Japanese anime that is very famous among viewers these days. The visual novel was made with the same name by age and its adult game was also released for windows. Ukyou Takao along with Media works publisher, created extra manga series, which was then published in Dengeki Daioh magazine.
Under the same publisher and writer Tom Hirokawa who wrote this series, the creators have also produced an anime series that Yukio Nishimoto and Tatsuhiko Urahata wrote and directed. The trio of the series presents the romantic sequel with light-hearted comedy but the changes in their lives land them on the war field. And it finally evolves into an alien invasion war epic.

The story further depicts Alternative V that transpired after commander Saigiri killed the prime minister. Takeru Yuuko’s office tells her about the Alternate V and explains about the commence. Whereas Miko’s father, Yoroi, also appears and comments on that since he has been watching Takeru.
Yoroi feels that Takeru is from the future after that Takeru knows a lot about Alternative V. He says regarding the approaching war and the option to head to perform his task after Yuuko rebukes him. Yuuko notices that Takeru is worried and he encouraged him not to worry.

The visual novel Muv-Luv is divided into 2 parts the first part is titled as  Muv-Luv Extra and features the playable character Takeru Shirogane who wakes up one morning to find a beautiful young woman sleeping beside him as infuriated as it was Takeru’s neighbor and childhood friend, comes to wake him up that morning. The young woman Meiya Mitsurugi is the Heiress of power financially powerful and she is determined to become the bride of Takeru. As the story progress, both of the women get affectionate with time and see the dream of marrying Takeru. He made promises to marry girls long ago. At first, he believed that the girl is Sumika but the girl was Meiya.Â
At last, he must decide which girl he truly loves. In addition, the player also decides to choose between the three. In the second of the novel main lead stays in the bed but doesn’t find any girl near her both of them don’t come to wake him up also. When he gets outside the house he sees all the neighborhood destroyed and Sumika’s house crushed under the large mecha. Later he gets to know that he is in the alternative world not in the world he used to be.
Where the aliens are called extra B.ET.A(an acronym for beings of extraterrestrial origin who are adversaries of the human race). they have invaded and the humans fight back against the alien aggressors.

Muv-Luv Alternative Season 2, this series has won many people’s hearts since its release in the first season. People never thought that this series would work but it has worked out unexpectedly. The first season was released on October 7th, 2021 that has been popular with 12 episodes. Fortunately, the second season of the anime, Muv-Luv alternative is announced to be released in October 2022. However, there is no official news about the dates being given.
