October Faction is a supernatural horror drama streaming television series. This show was created by Damian Kindler and is based on The October Faction by Steve Niles and Damien Worm. The first season of October Faction was released in January 2020 and since then there has been no news regarding October Faction 2. Fans of this show have been eagerly waiting for the release of October Faction Season 2.
The story of October Faction is centred on a couple, Fred and Deloris Allen. Fred and Deloris lived with their twin teenage children, Geoff and Viv. Fred shifted to his hometown with his after his father’s death. The show then showcased to us the transition of living from a city to a town. Fred had haunted visuals of his brother who was dead. The dark incidents of Fred’s childhood started hitting him again. Even their children experienced some supernatural occurrence. It is later discovered that Fred and Deloris are members of a secret organization assigned to protect humanity from threats from monsters. They kept their identity hidden and lived a normal life.
The basic theme of October Faction is somewhat similar to Stranger Things but the two are yet very different. If you liked Stranger Things then you are definitely gonna love this series.

On September 28, 2018, Netflix announced a fictional supernatural series of ten episodes. It went into the production phase the same year and hit the screens in 2021. However, it was not critically acclaimed and didn’t get a positive reception from the audience.
The story was focused on a couple, Fred and Deloris Allen. They both lived with their twin teenage children, Geoff and Viv. Fred shifted to his hometown with his family after the demise of his father, Samuel. His hometown was Barrington-on-Hudson. Primarily, he decided to go there for the funeral but later planned on settling there.
After reaching his hometown, Fred started getting haunted visuals. His childhood memories constantly hit him. His brother’s death and the arguments of his parents were all in front of his eyes. He was even criticised by his parents for the wrong choice of women. It seemed like Fred’s childhood home repulsed him.
Even the children found it difficult to settle in such a small town. Surprisingly, Fred’s children encountered some supernatural events across the town. Viv had visions of a creature with long hair. He was tied and was struggling to free himself.
Geoff accidentally did an embarrassing move at the school in front of everyone. Due to this, he was being made fun of by everyone. The show then progressed exploring the town and making us familiar with the characters.
As the series reached its half, we discovered that Fred and Deloris were actually members of a secret organisation, Presidio assigned to protect the earth and its habitators from monsters and supernatural threats. They were supposed to keep their identity secret in order to ensure work efficiency. Deloris and Fred lead a normal life like everybody else.
October Faction then illustrated their methods to deal with the strange and supernatural things unfolding in the town.

Other than these characters, a few recurring characters might also mark their presence in October Faction Season 2. Some new faces might also be introduced in October Faction Season 2.

Most of the fans of this horror drama were craving for October Faction Season 2. Unfortunately, the makers cancelled this show for any further season in March 2021.
