Our Blues is an Upcoming South Korean drama by TvN. It is genuinely the most awaited drama as Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min-A will appear on screen together for the first time in a television series. The drama revolves around the ordinary life of the people of Jeju Island. The drama is written by No Hee-Kyung. He is known for his work like My Dear Friends and The Most Beautiful Goodbye.
The drama is directed by Kim Kyu-Tae. He has directed beautiful dramas like Moon Lovers: Scarlet Heart Ryeo and It’s Okay, It Is Love. He was awarded as the best director for his direction in the South Korean drama ” That Winter, The Wind Blows”.

Synopsis of Our Blues
‘Our Blues’ is an upcoming drama which presents the story of living and life. A group of people of different age groups living their life on Jeju Island, South Korea. The story would be as simple as it sounds as the story would not revolve around the main couple but have a decent screen time of every character, showing their life in depth. There would be a back story in everyone’s lives.
Lee Dong-Seok was born and raised in Jeju Island. He is considerably not the most sophisticated anyone could meet. He earns his living by selling things from his truck. Min Sun-A is new to the island. She gets involved with Dong-Seok. She has something hidden about her past life which she carries all by herself.
Choi Han-Soo was also bought up in Jeju Island but as he grew up he decided to move to the mainland. He is a perfect city person. He returns to his hometown due to reasons which we would know by passing time. Jung Eun-Hee is his first love and he meets her after a long time. Jung Eun-Hee runs a fishing store on the island. Go Mi-ran has returned to her hometown in Jeju because she is sick of the tough city life. Go Mi-ran is good friends with Jung Eun-Hee.
Lee Young-Ok works as a female driver for a year and now has moved to Jeju. She is a bright person, but many rumors follow her around. Park Jung-Joon is the captain of the ship. He is a great person with a warm heart. He wants to date someone who could stay by his side all the time at Jeju. Later, he falls in love with Young-Ok.

Kim Woo Bin has made a comeback after getting treated for cancer. After a very long time audience can finally see him on the screen. He is known for his cold roles in dramas like The Hiers and Uncontrollably Fond. He will play the role of a kind and warm ship captain, Park Jung-Joon. Jung-Joon loves his hometown and would love to stay there forever with someone by his side.
Shin Min-A is back with another drama about life and love. She has done a fabulous job in the recent drama Hometown Chachacha. Nevertheless, she always had fame since she appears in My Girlfriend Is A Gumiho and Oh My Venus. She plays the role of Min Sun-A. In Our Blues, he would be playing the role of Lee Dong-Seok. Dong-Seok is born in a small village of Jeju and earns his living by selling stuff from his truck. He is not the best person but isn’t the worst either. He falls in love with Min Sun-A.
Han Ji-Min is well-known for her role in the drama “One Spring Night”.She will appear as Lee Young-Ok, who has recently shifted to Jeju island. For a year she has been working as a female driver which is the reason for rumors all over the place about her. She is the girl Jung-Joon was looking for.
Cha Seung-Won has been a part of the industry for a very long time nailing every role he has performed. He was a part of all-time favorite drams like A Korean Odyssey and Hwajung. He plays the role of Choi Han-Soo, who was born and raised on Jeju Island, but he moved away to the mainland. He returns to his hometown where he meets his first love Jung Eun-Hee. Another actress with perfect scores on her dramas and movies plays the role of a woman who runs a fishing store. Lee Jung-Eun has won millions of hearts by her acting in numerous dramas. Some of her dramas are Hometown Chachacha, Hi-Bye Mama, and Law School.
Uhm Jung-Hwa is a well-known actress from Okay Madam and Wonderful Nightmare. She plays the role of Go Mi-Ran. Mi-Ran has decided to quit the hectic life of the city and move back to her hometown, Jeju Island.

Our Blues, a new television series will be premiered on April 9, 2022. Our Blues takes over tvN’s time slot previously occupied by Twenty Five Twenty One. New episodes of the drama will be released on weekends, Saturday-Sunday. The episodes will begin airing at 9:10 p.m. KST. International fans may enjoy Our Blues at 7:10 a.m. in the US, 5:40 p.m. in India, 12:10 p.m. in the UK, 11:10 p.m. in Australia, and 7:10 a.m. in Canada.
