What is the plot of Pachinko?
Pachinko is a story beginning in the early 1900s in Korea. It is a three-generational storey starring Minari, Oscar winner, Youn Yuh-Jung as Sun-ja, who was born and raised in Busan during the rule of the Japanese. She falls in love with Koh han-su, but she realizes he was cheating on her and marries another woman. It was too late since she was pregnant. Baek Isak, a church priest, marries her, moving to Japan together. She gives birth and raises the child in Japan. The life of an immigrant was brutal as they faced contempt and discrimination. The story shows the struggle for survival.
