The first season of this young adult drama was released in May 2021 and since then the fans of this show have been anticipating the release of Panic Season 2.
Panic comes under the genre of teen drama. It showcased the story of twenty-three young adults who after completing graduation participated in an Annual Panic Competition. They could return to their home town Texas town of Carp with $50,000 if they won the challenge. However, their escape came with risks.

- Jessica Sula as Natalie Williams. Natalie was also a graduating student. She was the best friend of Heather Nill. Unlike Heather, she had plans of participating in this game from the very beginning. She wanted to use the prize money to settle in Los Angeles in the future.
- Mike Faist as Dodge Mason. Mike Faist portrayed one of the main male leads of this teen show. He was a new newcomer and was not familiar with the traditions and customs of the town. He had some personal reasons to join the challenge. He didn’t play for winning the prize money.
- Ray Nicholson as Ray Hall. Ray was the male lead alongside Mike Faist. He had the characteristics of a typical ‘Bad Boy’ and came from a family of troublemakers. He had no plans of participating in the dangerous game until the new rules were released. These new rules were somehow related to Ray’s family and he was forced to play the game for his family’s greater good.
- Cameron Jones as Bishop Moore. Bishop was the other best friend of Heather Nill and Natalie Williams. Bishop had a secret crush on Heather but he never confessed his feelings for the fear of rejection and it could ruin their friendship. He belonged to a wealthy family. Although Bishop didn’t participate in the game of Panic he had his complicated connection with it.
- Enrique Murciano as Sheriff James Cortez. James Cortez was the sheriff of Carp. He lost his son in the game of Panic and was determined to stop the game for others’ good. He dived deep into the past of Panic and discovered dark secrets which were supposed to be hidden. He realised that Panic was much more complicated than he believed.
- Walker Babington as Luke Hall. Luke was the elder brother of Ray Wall. He was always seen in complications with law affairs.
- Lee Eddy as Sgt. Christine Langley. A fellow cop of James helped him unravel the mystery of the dangerous game.
- Todd Williams as Captain John Williams. He was a cop and a single father of Natalie Williams.
- Rachel Bay Jones as Sherri Nill. She was the mother of Heather and lived with her two daughters in a local trailer park.
- Kariana Karhu as Lilly Nill. She was the younger sister of Heather Nill. Lilly and Heather had a deep connection and their relationship was depicted purely in this series.
A few new characters will also be introduced in Panic Season 2. The makers haven’t revealed anything about them. We will update you once we have any news on that aspect.
Panic Season 2 Release Date
The makers cancelled this teen drama in August 2021 for any further seasons. It is unlikely that we will see Panic Season 2. The first season was completely based on the novel written by its director. The makers will have to script a new story for the Panic Season 2 to happen.
