Psychic Princess Season 2 is a Chinese anime. The genre of the series is fantasy and romance, and it’s taken from the Chinese Manhua series. Psychic Princess is written and illustrated by Rou Rou and directed by Li Hauling and Bill. The series was first released on 30th November 2018 and featured 16 episodes. The story is inspired by Chinese Manhua Tonf Ling Fei which translates to The Imperial Concubine in English.

Psychic Princess Season 2 Storyline
The show basically revolves around a beautiful girl who belongs to a noble family but is sent away from her home after her family learns she is different. She spends years in a mountain where she learns to use her skills in a good way. She even has two pet tigers and she converses in sign language with them. But later, she is brought back home to marry a rival prince. She marries the prince but he doesn’t love her. The prince sends her away to a spooky haunted house.

Psychic Princess Season 2 Plot
The show begins with a young lady, Quan Yunxi who was abandoned at the age of 8 by her family. She belonged to a noble family but they sent her away because she was psychic. She was sent to live in the mountains. She had special abilities like talking to animals and seeing ghosts or spirits. Along with her family, the community didn’t accept her either.
Later, she learns to use her skills well, but life has different plans for her. She is brought to her family where she is supposed to marry the rival prince to maintain a truce between both families. Unfortunately for Quan, even the prince, Ye Youming, doesn’t love her and abandons her. The prince sends her away to a haunted house when he learns the truth about her wife’s abilities.
The show ends with Quan’s younger sister bringing a Taoist master to evict the ghost when the prince enters and announces that Quan Yunxi belongs only to him.
Psychic Princess Season 2 Release Date
Although the series received much attention, there hasn’t been any announcement regarding a new season. There might be rumours going around about the renewal of the series but we can’t say anything certainly. This series is yet another show facing production issues due to the pandemic. Fortunately, the producers and directors haven’t cancelled the new season so there might be a chance we will get to see the new season soon.
There are chances we may get the new season before the end of 2022. Fans are more than eager to binge-watch this season since the last season ended with a cliff-hanger.
Psychic Princess Season 2 Previous Season Recap
The show revolves around a young lady Quan Yunxi who has psychic abilities. She was sent away to live in mountains at the age of 8 but her parents bring her back. The reason behind this sudden change was their intention to marry Quan to a young rival prince. To maintain a truce between both families, Quan marries prince Ye Youming.
However, even the prince abandons her and sends her away to a haunted house. But by the end of the season, we see Ye Youming changing. He treats her as a proper lady and even makes arrangements for Quan to live with him in the main palace. The season ends with a cliff-hanger where it cuts to a mysterious man who is seen conversing with an evil spirit.
The new season would obviously follow the story of Qian Yunxi and the events surrounding the mysterious man we are greeted with at the end of the previous season. We can only speculate what will happen since no announcements have been made related to the show’s release date and its plot.
