Queen of the South Season 6 Storyline
Queen of the South focuses on an ordinary and poor Mexican woman, Teresa Mendoza who lives in the barrio of Culiacán in Sinaloa, Mexico. She falls deeply in love with a member of a drug cartel and starts to see herself at the top of the world.
However, her dreams will not remain forever, as she soon has to cross the border of Mexico to flee to the United States after her lover’s murder for a certain reason. Teresa soon finds herself in a criminal organization of the drug distribution business in which her life is always at the stake. As a refugee from Mexico, she becomes very successful unexpectedly in the drug business due to her extraordinary charm and charisma.
Queen of the South is a very different kind of crime television series. When it comes to drug-related situations, we always expect a male figure behind them, but not in this series. It was the fifth season that was suspended on March 14, 2020, due to Covid-19.
