Chiu was a father figure to them but they were unaware of his dark past. He had relations with the drug mafia and it brought him to the United States and ultimately to death.
Seis Manos shook their hands with Brister, a Houston DEA Agent, and Garcia, a local Mexican cop. Together they worked to track down the person who killed their mentor.
Seis Manos was unaware of the bleak world awaiting them. They thought of the murderer as a person but instead, it was a drug cartel that killed their father figure. They even planned on destroying the drug lord who killed Chiu but soon discovered the drug lord derived his powers from a supernatural force.
Chiu’s corruption, blood, and past led the Seis Manos to the drug lord. Though they were capable, the drug mafia was too strong to be beaten and it was almost impossible to break through them.
