The solos season 2 is an American sci-fi drama. solos is an anthology series. anthology series is a film or TV series with different genres mixed all together during the whole span of the series. it presents a different story, with different characters in each different episode or segment. It means a different storyline or different plot with each different episode.
solos is created by David Will and were produced by Amazon Studios. solos were first premiered on May 21, 2021, on Amazon Prime in the UK, USA, Australia, Canada, Ireland, India, and New Zealand and later it spreads to other territories. solos season 1 had 7 episodes. the show holds an IMDb rating of 5.9/10.
there is no doubt that it is an amazing series but is solos season 2 happening?
Solos Season 2 Plot
solos season 2 plot is all about human life. the plot revolves around human interaction. it explains what it means to be a human. how we all are connected to each other, and share feelings, emotions, experiences, and misery. as it is an anthology series, different episodes depict different aspects of human life. solos season 2 is still a mystery, solos season 2 plot is also a mystery for all of us. until and unless the maker of the show announces the renewal of solos season 2, we cannot predict the plot of it. if we see solos season 1 plot, season 2 plot is also going to be an anthology with other aspects of human life.
Solos Season 2 Cast
As said before, it is an anthology series and consists of different characters for different episodes. the cast of solos season 1 were legends and they played their role very well. after solos season 1, we would love to see them again for solos season2. but we are not sure of it. Maybe all the characters are new in season along with a few old characters from season 1.
Here is a list of a few characters who are expected in season 2-
- Morgan Freeman is seen as Stuart, who was acting to be an Alzheimer’s patient but later proves to be a memory thief. He thefts memories from Leah, Peg, Tom, Sasha, and Otto out of which Otto was only the child. Freeman is the narrator of each episode of solos.
- Anna Hathway plays the role of Leah, who is a scientist in the year 2024 and trying to attempt time travel.
- Anthony Mackie seen as Tom is a businessman and later as the series progress, proves to be their adoptive father of Peg. He also plays the role of Tom II who is a robot replacement for Tom to resume Tom I life when he’s dead.
- Helen Mirren as Peg is a senior and joins the space program because she felt invisible. Later on, it is revealed that he is the adoptive son of Tom and was replaced by Tom II.
- Uzo Adube is seen as Sasha, a woman living in her smart house for 20 years.
- Constance Wu is seen as Jenny. She is a self-loathing and self-destructive woman.
- Nicole Beharie seen as Nera. She is a pregnant woman, who gives birth to a son during a blizzard lockdown who seems to age quickly. Later she realizes that there is something wrong with her son.
- Dan Stevens as Otto is an NHS worker. He steals Stuart’s Alzheimer’s cure and later realizes that Stuart is the one who stole his memory as a child after his mother died (Stuart). Stevens also voices Tym, the all-space shuttle in Peg’s episode.
Other cast members are Hannah Dunne, Carol Smolinsky, Sanaa Lathan, Jack Quaid, and many others.
Solos Season 1 Ending Explained
Solos Episode 1 is about a physicist who is very intelligent and he wants to time travel. In Solos episode 2 Tom realized that his time on earth is very limited and that’s the reason he plans to buy a controversial product for the Family. In solos season 1 episode 3, Peg goes on a mysterious trip to the farthest reaches of the universe.
In episode 4, Sasha wants to leave her smart house where she was living for the past 20 years. In episode 5, jenny realizes that her memory fragments are missing and that is when she attempts to remember what made her sit in the waiting room for so long. In episode 6, Nera gives birth to a child because of the near-future fertility treatment. In the last episode of solos season 1, Otto searches for Stuart who seems to be a patient with dementia, later reveals that he is the one who stole his memory of Otto after the death of his mother (Stuart).
Solos Season 2 Release Date
The Solos Season 2 is still blurry as there is no official announcement being made by the makers of the show regarding its renewal. But the audience is expecting David Will to come back with Solos Season 2 on Amazon Prime. It is assumed to be released by the end of August 2022 according to the previous season timeline.
Solos Season 2 Trailer
The Solos Season 2 trailer is not yet come as there is no confirmation regarding the renewal of solos season2. The makers of the show have not made any official announcement for season 2. Once season 2 is announced we can expect a trailer soon. But if the Solos season 2 is coming up, the trailer is more likely to be released by the end of July 2022.
