Hello Folks, this post is about one of the most successful Netflix Series, Stranger Things. Stranger Things is a Science Fiction horror web Series that doesn’t need any introduction and was created by The Duffer Brothers. Already 3 previous seasons of Stranger things have been released till now. Season 3 aired in July of 2019, and it has been a long period of time for fans waiting for the renewal of Strangers Things Season 4 and the road to Season 4 has been exciting.
The Duffer Brothers’ original series combines 80s nostalgia with suspense storytelling to create a compelling series that pays homage to masterpieces by Stephen King and Steven Spielberg while also succeeding as a standalone sci-fi story full of lovable characters.
Stranger Things started filming season 4 in October 2020 after a short break due to the pandemic. Fans have been waiting years for a Season 3 sequel, as well as answers to where some of their favourite characters have ended up. The Duffer Brothers, who created the series, have confirmed that, due to the massive volume of season 4, it will be split into two parts and released on Netflix.
Season 3 of Stranger Things had a somewhat conclusive finish, with many elements of the major characters’ lives changing. After Hopper’s supposed death, Eleven appeared to lose her powers and was adopted by the Byers family, the Mind Flayer monster was destroyed, and some of the characters went their separate ways after deciding to leave Hawkins.
With that in mind, Season 4 appears to be a break from the series’ previous seasons. We also know that being a fan of this series you want to know more about Stranger Things Season 4 Cast, Release Dates and Story, so in order to not skip any information read this post till the end.
Stranger Things Season 4 Part 1 Release Date
Season 4 of “Stranger Things” will have a completely different release schedule than previous seasons. Season 4 will be divided into 2 parts rather than being released all at once. Part 1 will be released on May 27th, followed by Part 2 on July 1st, just five weeks later. Netflix has also announced that the show has been renewed for a fifth which is also going to be the final season.
Season 4 is much, much longer than previous seasons of the show, the Duffer Brothers show makers of this series explained why this method of release for Stranger Things Season 4 was chosen. Because Season 4 only has one more episode than the previous seasons, it’s safe to expect that each episode will be much longer than the previous Stranger Things seasons’ episodes. Regardless, this split release technique is nothing new for Netflix, which has used it before for shows like Lucifer and Money Heist.

Stranger Things Season 4 Expected Plot
Most of Stranger Things 4’s plot is unknown, however, when filming began in February 2020, a brief overview was released, confirming that David Harbour’s Hopper will return and that the character wasn’t dead after all. Stranger Things 3 ended with Hopper killing himself in front of the massive wormhole that the Russians had created beneath Hawkins, Indiana. However, we were transferred to a Russian prison in a post-credits sequence, where guards were discussing “the American” in one of their cells.
Hopper is imprisoned in Kamchatka, Russia, in Season 4 of Stranger Things, where “he will encounter both human… and other threats.” Indeed, we saw the Russians have their own Demogorgon in the Stranger Things 3 post-credits sequence.
Season 1 took place in November 1983, Season 2 took place in October 1984, and Season 3 took place in the Summer of 1985. The longest gap between seasons on Stranger Things has been a year. Season 4 is set in the spring of 1986, as seen by the new teaser, which depicts Eleven and Will in California and approaching Spring Break.
Netflix has already revealed that the characters would have to deal with the events of Season 4 separately at least at first, with our protagonists ending up in Russia, the Creel mansion, the lab, and California. It’s unclear what trials each set of people will encounter, but fans should expect each place to be filled with dark and dangerous dangers. Given the characters’ spread over the globe, it’ll be fascinating to see how they all come together in the end.
