The Librarians Season 5 Plot
The show basically revolves around four people who are newly recruited by the library. The librarians in a way are guards of the wide range of magical and mythical relics. They solve mysteries and fight against supernatural threats while also recovering magical artifacts and rewriting key moments in history. In the first season of the show, they are fighting against the forces of the Serpent Neighbourhood. The Serpent Neighbourhood is led by an immortal Dulaque.
In the second season, they are seen fighting a new set of villains who are from the fictional world. One is the gray villain Moriarty who is a chief nemesis of Sherlock Holmes. Another villain is Prospero who poses a bigger threat to the world and magic.
In the third season, a greater evil is introduced. Apep, the Egyptian God of Chaos is resurrected and is determined to release pure evil into the world. But, the librarians have another problem waiting for them. As they try to fight this God, their actions are monitored by a new officer. Working in a secret government agency, DOSA, General Cynthia Rockwell is closely watching all of them.
The fourth and the last season binds the whole show as new conflicts arise. A ceremony must be undertaken, the return of a guardian that raises countless questions and information that only one person can be a Librarian at a time or there will be consequences. Either everything will be solved or it’ll end disastrously as the show bids goodbye.

Then, they are led to another situation where they learn a group of high school students is undercutting each other with witchcraft. Building up to a big mystery, they are headed to a house that is the origin of all the terrifying haunted house stories. Moving from this adventure to the next, they are looking for a missing person which turns out to be an alien invasion. In the last episode, we see that Dulaque changes the course of fate and Baird gets the chance to the alternate destinies of the librarians.
