- Andrew Scott as Lord Merlin. Merlin was the neighbour of the Radlett family. He used to organise wild parties at his house which attracted Linda and Fanny.
- Emily Mortimer as Fanny’s Mother / The Bolter. Emily Mortimer was the one who directed this show. She portrayed the character of Fanny Logan’s mother in The Pursuit of Love.
- Dominic Wes as Matthew Radlett. Matthew was the father of Linda. He was extremely strict in terms of raising his children. He kept them locked in his ancestral home and was strictly against the need for education for women. This is why he didn’t let Linda attend school during her childhood and kept her deprived of basic education.
- Dolly Wells as Sadie Radlett. Dolly Wells played the character of Linda’s mother in The Pursuit of Love.
- Assaad Bouab as Fabrice de Sauveterre. Fabrice was one of Linda’s love interests. His expensive gifts and affection attracted Linda.
- Shazad Latif as Alfred Wincham. Alfred married Fanny in the latter of this mini-series.
