The Terminal List is an upcoming American action web series by Amazon Prime Video. The series is based on the novel of the same name The Terminal List written by Jack Carr, he was previously a Navy SEAL and led the special operations in his task force. He now writes books with respect to his experience as a Navy SEAL.

The Terminal List is also a story of a Navy SEAL who is shown in war and missions. The series portrays the struggles a military man goes through and the trauma a person has to face from the nature of work they have. There are many political aspects shown as well and revolves around James Reece who is determined to complete his missions and find out the truth behind his comrade’s death.

The Terminal List Cast

The protagonist of The Terminal List is Chris Pratt, an American actor best known for action and animated movies such as Jurassic World, Guardians of the Galaxy, and recently The Tomorrow War as well as starred in the series Parks and Recreation and Everwood, he plays the role of James Reece in the show.

Taylor Kitsch, is a Canadian actor and model best known for his role in the NBC series Friday Night Lights as Tim Riggins, he has also starred in various movies such as Battleship and John Carter, he plays the role of Ben Edwards. Constance Wu, she is an American actress majorly known for her roles in Crazy Rich Asians and Hustlers, she has been previously nominated for the Golden Globe Award for Best Actress and Critics Choice Awards four times as of now, she plays the role of Katie Buranek in the show.

The other casts include Patrick Schwarzenegger as Donny Mitchell, Arlo Mertz as Lucy Reece, Riley Keough as Lauren Reece, Jai Courtney as Steven Horn, and Alexis Louder as Nicole Deptul, and JD Pardo as Tony Liddel.

The Terminal List is based on the bestseller novel of the same title, it follows a storyline of James Reece, he is a Navy SEAL in America, he along with his team are sent on a mission but while on it the mission goes wrong as they were ambushed by the enemy. He had to lead his team to survive this period and reach home safely.

James manages to survive along with a few of his team members, he is relied on to be back home safe and back to his family but soon after he realizes the trauma he faced is much greater than he thought. He remembers each moment of what had happened and criticizes himself for not being a competent leader. Soon he discovers there are more things involved in the incident unknown to him, in order to uncover his teammate’s death as well as keep his loved ones safe he goes on a new mission. The action series has been hyped enough by novel readers who have been looking forward to its release.

The Terminal List Release Date

The Terminal List has been announced to release on 1 of July 2022 by Amazon Prime Videos with a total of eight episodes.

The Terminal List was written by David DiGilio, previously contributed in Eight Below and Untitled Tron: Legacy Sequel. The series was directed by Antoine Fuqua, an American actor, and director, he began his career as a director in 2001 starting with Training Day, Ellen Kuras also contributed, she is an American cinematographer who mainly works on documentaries, commercials, and music videos.

The executive producers include Chris Pratt, Antoine Fuqua, and David Digilio. Cinematography Armando Salas best known for his works in Invasion and The Most Hated Woman in America in 2017. The production companies involved are Indivisible Productions, Fuqua Films, Civic Center Media, MRC Television, and Amazon Studios.

As of now, there is no trailer released by Amazon Prime but there was a teaser released on the 8 of March 2022, it is an 18-second teaser that shows very few scenes of the show and ends with the releasing date.
