The Umbrella Academy is an American web series by Netflix, it is based on a comic and picture novel written by Gerard Way. The series begins with 43 women being pregnant for no apparent reason and claiming to have never been pregnant at all. There were 43 unknown infants and six of them were adopted by a billionaire, Reginald Hargreeves. After a few years of adopting these kids, he noticed each one possessed a supernatural power and so he decides to train them brutally for them to use it accordingly later along the years created the Umbrella Academy.
During their teenage days, they were separated and lived their own life just as any American teenager would until they all father because of Reginald’s death and solve the mystery concerning his death. During the process number five while jumping time, jumps 8 days later into the future and finds their house and everything around burned and destroyed to ashes. There was an apocalypse on the way in just 8 days and only they could save the world from this.
In season 2, a similar phenomenon occurs after they all move to a different time zone but the apocalypse still follows them, and yet again they have to save the world from the disaster in mere few days. At the end of season 2, the sparrows appear who also have supernatural powers but are an alternative version of the Umbrellas. This meant more trouble for the Umbrellas. In season 3, viewers can finally watch what will happen of them and how will they save the world.

The Umbrella Academy has been announced to release on 22 June 2022 by Netflix.

The cast of The Umbrella Academy include firstly the six main character, Aidan Gallagher, is an American actor majorly known for his role as Nicky in the comedy series Nicky, Ricky, Dicky, and Dawn, he has also starred in Ghost Witch and Jacked Up, he plays the role of number five in the show. Elliot Page is a Canadian actor as well as producer best known for his works in Inception and Hard Candy, he previously won the MTV Movie and TV Award for Most Frightened Performance, BAFTA Award multiple times as well as the Golden Globe Award, and was nominated for the Emmy Awards.
Robert Sheehan is an Irish actor best known for his role in Misfits and Love/Hate. He has also two books Disappearing Act: A Host of Other Characters in 16 Short Stories and Disappearing Act: A Host of Other Characters, he plays the role of Klaus Hargreeves in the show. Tom Hopper, is an English actor best known for his roles in Merlin, Black Sails, and Game of Thrones as Dickon Tarly, he plays the role of Luther Hargreeves in the show.
Emmy Raver Lampman is an American actress also a singer, she initially began her career in the music industry and later began her acting career starring in Jekyll and Hyde and Hamilton, she plays the role of Allison Hargreeves in the show. Lastly, David Castaneda, is an American actor who starred in popular tv series such as Jane The Virgin and We Die, Young, he plays the role of Diego Hargreeves in the show. The other casts include Ritu Arya as Lila Pitts, Kate Walsh as The Handler, Jordan Claire Robbins as Grace, Marin Ireland as Sissy, Justin H. Min as Ben, and Cazzie David as Jayme.
What to expect from The Umbrella Academy Season 3
In the previous season, the siblings faced a lot of troubles and weird problems especially the stress of time traveling. After they were back from Sissy’s farm and back to their home, they see their home untouched and safe, suddenly spot ben came out to the balcony sending the Umbrellas in panic mode. In season 3 the Umbrellas have to face the Sparrows, who also have supernatural powers just like the Umbrellas.
The Sparrows are not a specific group of superheroes in the comic but Netflix created them to be against The Umbrellas for the plot. In order to protect their home and avoid yet another apocalypse and any threat in the world, they have to first face the Sparrows. There was not much insight given by Netflix as of now but soon the trailer will be released giving more information about what will happen in this season and whether it is going to be the final season for the Umbrellas to suffer.
Who are the creators of The Umbrella Academy?
The Umbrella Academy was created by Steve Blackman, he is an American-Canadian screenwriter and producer, he previously won the Writers Guild of America Award in 2016. The show was developed by Jeremy Slater, he is an American writer and producer majorly known for his works in Fantastic Four and the Japanese anime Death Note, he is currently working on Moon Knight as well. The executive producers include Gerard Way, Jeff F. King, Jeremy Webb, Scott Stuber, Mike Richardson, Keith Goldberg, Peter Hoar, and Beau Bauman. The production companies involved are Universal Content Productions, Borderline Entertainment, and Dark Horse Entertainment.

As of now, there has not been any official trailer yet but Netflix posted a Youtube short of only 15 seconds. The short on Youtube showed us the Umbrellas and Sparrows facing each other and in the end the release date.
