The Way Of The Househusband Season 2 Plot
The story revolves around an ex-Yakuza boss, Tatsu who changes himself for the love of his life, Miku. He leaves his life filled with crimes behind as he tries to become a househusband. The series shows Tatsu as a househusband who tries to accomplish mundane tasks such as cooking, taking care of a pet, or grocery shopping.
Tatsu is shown celebrating his birthday. At one point, he becomes obsessed with a cockroach that has invaded his house and tries to kill it. Police investigate Tatsu when he doesn’t believe that he has in fact changed. He is also seen struggling to get a DVD to her wife intact. At the end of each episode, the focus is shifted to the main character’s pet cat that goes on about his day, interacting with cats and dogs in the neighbourhood.
The Way Of The Househusband Season 2 Release Date
Netflix officially announced in September 2021 that the anime series, The Way of the Househusband would be returning for a brand new season. The series has already been approved for a second season after its release in 2021. However, there is no official date for the release of this new season as of yet. The second season will most likely be released by the end of 2022 or early 2023. The production requires a lot of time hence, it’s delaying the season’s release.
It’s also speculated that we might get seasons 3 and 4 too, since, there are around 69 chapters of the manga. But let’s first pray that we get the second season soon!
The Way Of The Househusband Season 2 Previous Season Recap
The first season released in April 2021. It was outrageously hilarious as we got to see Tatsu dealing with his life being a former Yakuza boss. Tatsu finds himself in several hilarious situations. One of such situation includes a scene where he and his ex-rival settle a feud by having a cook-off. They end up posting images of their dishes on Instagram and wait for the likes to pour in to decide the winner.
We can expect more adventures from our favourite characters Tatsu, Miku, and even Gin— Tatsu, who will try to cope in a normal world, Miku who is focusing on her career in design, and Gin, who intelligence still remains hidden from her owners. We will hopefully get to see more of Tatsu’s marriage with Miku as they try to deal with Tatsu’s past life.
Where To Watch The Way Of The Househusband Season 2?
The Way of the Househusband Season 1 is available on Netflix for the audience. Tune in to watch the story of Tatsu and Miku until the release of the second season. The show is in no way deep or emotional, but it is definitely hilarious to watch. The first season only has five episodes so it’s obviously convenient to finish quickly.
