Thirty Nine Episode 6 Recap
Mi-jo meets Seon-woo’s father for dinner where he creates an uncomfortable atmosphere by hurting Su won. Mi-jo defends her and discloses that she is an orphan too and should not be treated in such a manner. Su won feels better as she realizes that she isn’t alone anymore and has people whom she can look forward to. She decides to go back to the orphanage and cherish her childhood.
As they decided to make Chan -young the happiest terminally ill person in the world in the previous episode but haven’t done anything yet to make it possible, they decide to stay with her and make the best memories possible.
Love blossoms as Mi-jo and Seon-woo appear on the screen. He shows his genuine love and affection by helping her relieve stress in various forms. They share a lot of cute and cozy moments. Seon-woo ensures that he is by her side without making her distant from her friends.
Joo hee faces a lot of problems at work. Although her character is patient and kind, she stands up for herself when things went overboard. Creating a heroic moment she quits the job. Hyun-Joon gets an offer to join back the five-star hotel he once worked at. Joo hee and Hyun-Joon share their problems over several glasses of beer.
Jin-Seok expresses his love towards Chan -young as he decides to stay by her side till her last breath and would love to end his life too. While he unpacks his clothes, Chan -young’s mother and her friends show up. They all had a great time till Jin-Seok’s wife wanted to barge in and create drama. Mi-jo goes on her knees to stop her, she pleads till she faints because of the cold. The episode ends with Seon-Wo running to grab her as Jin-Seok’s wife agrees to leave.
