According to an unverified source, the second season was supposed to air on 11th April 2019. It’s 2022 and the date has long gone, but we believe we might get a new season soon in 2022 or early 2023. It’s speculated that Trinity Seven Season 2 will be released on 16th September 2022.
The delay of this new season might be due to the lack of source material. Or it could also be because of the recently released movies. Dropping another season on top of the latest movie might overshadow the movie. Even the pandemic adds another factor to this delay.
It’s believed that by releasing films, the franchise is trying to suggest that there is enough material. It could be possible that the series might continue as films instead of regular seasons.

Trinity Seven Season 2 Plot
Trinity Seven revolves around seven girls who signify seven deadly sins and Arata Kasuga.
Arata is the protagonist of the series. He used to live a happy life with his family until one day when the sun turned black. Something called Breakdown Phenomenon happens in his world. Arata has always been close to Hijiri Kasuga who is his cousin. Somehow, she knew she wouldn’t be able to survive whatever was happening in his world so she passes Arata a magical book that would help him survive. Additionally, she hands her grimoire to him.
He escapes but is left alone in this world, feeling like he’s doomed. He weeps uncontrollably which triggers something in the grimoire. The world changes and reconstructs before his eyes making everything seem normal.
Lilith, a sorceress appears out of nowhere and destroys the illusion of Arata’s world. She tries to make a deal with him, giving him two options. Either hand her the grimoire or die. Arata doesn’t wish to part with the last thing Hijiri gives him so he tries to negotiate with her. This makes Lilith offer another option – attend Royal Biblia Academy, a highly confidential sorcery school. So, he goes to Royal Biblia Academy. He wants to save his loved ones and bring them back. In the academy, Arata works hard to become a disciplined magician. He also meets the rest of “Trinity Seven”.
The seven members of “Trinity Seven” are Mira Yamana, Arin Kannazuki, Lilith Asami, Levi Kazana, Yuti Kurata, Akio Fudo, and Lieselotte Sherlock. Each of them is the school’s elite magician with their own set of talents and skills. Soon, he realizes that one of the seven girls has a mysterious connection to his missing cousin, Hijiri.
Trinity Seven Season 2 Previous Season Recap
The first season of Trinity Seven ended with a raging battle for which members of Trinity Seven had activated their Magus modes. The show begins with our protagonist, Aruta Kasuga. He is a young boy who has lost his loved ones to the Breakdown Phenomenon. Lilith, a powerful sorceress appears in front of him giving him choices on how to continue his life. He chooses to attend a school where he trains himself to become a disciplined magician. He meets Trinity Seven and learns that one of them might be related to his cousin, Hijiri.
The first season covered 30 chapters so the second season will most likely start from the 31st chapter. We are hopeful about the next season which might be released any time soon. It’s been years since we got the last movie; therefore it seems that the timing now is appropriate for a new season.
