Tsugu Tsugumomo Season 3is a Japanese manga series. It is written and illustrated by Yoshikazu Hamada, started in 2007. It is produced by List. It is a Television adaptation of the manga series of the same name. The first season was premiered on 5 April 2017 and was concluded on 21 June 2017. the series has a total of 12 episodes.

The Tsugu Tsugumomo series has already been released in 2 seasons previously. The first was released in April 2017 and the second was released from 5 April 2020 to 21 June 2020. Season 2 had 8 episodes in total. Crunchyroll licensed the first season and streamed it in North America, Latin America, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Europe, the Middle East, and North Africa. Funimation dubbed it and launched it in North America on Home video.

Tsugu Tsugumomo is a mixed genre television series i.e. it has a taste of comedy along with a bit of horror into it. The story is set in Japan where an ordinary guy named Kazuya Kagami, gets to know that his late mother Obi, can transform into a girl wearing a kimono named Kiriha. 72% of people like this show according to Anilist. Tsugu Tsugumomo Season 3 Plot

Tsugu Tsugumomo Season 3 plot revolves around a guy named Kazuya Kagami, whose life turns upside down when he realizes that his late mom can transform into a girl in a kimono named Kiriha. His mother gave him a gift before dying. He did not know the power of the gift until one day when he finds out the true power of this gift and is drawn into a whole new world, complete with a harem of beautiful women.

Tsukumogami is tools that have acquired spirit or a kami. She happens to be called “Tsugumomo” objects that have gained a soul through long years of harmony with their owners. Kazuya has no recollection of meeting Kiriha when she exclaims “Long time no see” to him. He is attacked by “amasogi” where he almost lost his life when Kiriha enters and saves his life. till that time he had no idea about the gift which her mother gave him.

Amasogi’s are the prematurely born spirits who enter the world only to fulfill the impure wishes of certain people. With Kiriha’s arrival, Kazuya enters a reality with gods and other Tsukumogami. after meeting Kiriha he gets to know about his dark past. Tsugu Tsugumomo season 3 revolves around the Tsukomogami and amisogis.

Kazuya Kagami is the main protagonist of the story. He unfolds the mystery of his past after he meets Kiriha. He often feels sad as he was called a taboo child. He was a brave guy who was not scared of anything. He use to jump into anything in order to accomplish his mission as Kamioka’s exorcist.

Kiriha is seen as a tsukumogami who used to be in a form of a white cherry blossom Obi that Kazuya carries around. In a human form, Kiriha is very strong and very powerful and is capable of taking down amasogi and other tsukumogami. She is a very rude, arrogant, lazy, ill-tempered girl in her Chibi form but when she is a child, she enjoys with Kukuya and Kazuya. As an Obi, she was the mother of Kazuya, who took care of him and loved him unconditionally. Obi scent serves as a memento to Kazuya. Sometimes she also enjoys sexually harassing Kazuya.

Kyōka is a flute tsukumogami who was originally a member of Mayoiga. She is the one who attacked Kazuya but in the end, gets defeated by him. After which she lost her spirit power and turns back into a flute. He spares Kyoka and carries the flute with him until Kukuri is imprisoned. She awakens and helps all her group members to escape but later becomes friends with Kazuya as Kiriha was destroyed in the previous confrontation. Later she starts to like Kazuya.

Kukuri is the god of the land, who was protecting Kazuya’s city. She is good at using water spells. She always wears a Noh mask to increase her power. She is so powerful that she can even defeat Kiriha. She is very helpful with household chores which pleases Kazuya’s sister, Kasumi. She use to live in a shrine with her family.

Kokuyō is Kukuri’s family member. She is a woman with a raven spirit. She has a big appetite and whatever she eats goes directly to her big breasts. She also likes Kazuya as all the other characters in the series do.

Tsugu Tsugumomo Season 2 Kukuri and Kiriha are killed. Kazuya’s mother, Kanaka, is brought to life with Miurahi’s shard by black-obi Azami’s two halves. Kanaka is trapped by Kazuya’s sister Kasumi in a time freeze-state. This gives Kazuya three years to train and get stronger. Sunao Sumeragi and her sword tsukomogami Kotetsu come live at Kazuya’s house. Radical Tsukomogami’s have started killing people and consuming them to increase their power and that’s why Sunao is sent to Kazuya’s school.

Tsugu Tsugumomo season 3 is not yet confirmed as it is still not renewed for the new season. But if we go according to their previous timelines of releasing season 1 and season 2, then we are expecting the release of season 3 by April 2023.
