Westworld Season 4 is an American Television Series created by Jonathan Nolan and Lisa Joy and produced and aired by HBO. The TV Series is based on a film named Westworld, released in 1973. The first three seasons consist of 28 episodes in total. The Series runs under an immense Wild West theme. Westworld is a series with so many nominations and wins in different Award ceremonies such as Golden Globe, Emmy, and more for its fabulous work of cast and crew (kudos to the technical brilliance).
The 4th Season consists of 8 episodes, and they take off where it ended in season 3. The Western and Sci-Fi elements are pure art to watch. Westworld Season 3 Recap
Westworld Season 3 takes place in 2053, 3 months after the incidents of season 2. Season 3 ends with Dolores placing the key to enter the sublime into Bernard’s mind when they escape Westworld to stop it from falling into Serac’s hands.
Westworld Season 4 Plot
Westworld Season 4 takes place in 2 timelines – 2060 and 2083. This Season is expressed as a ‘dark odyssey about the fate of sentient life on Earth.’ Realizing that neither humans nor hosts can live in the outside world, Dolores awakens inside the Sublime and chooses to try to give sentient life another chance to survive. She begins by building a replica of the original Westworld park inside the Sublime.
Westworld Season 4 Storyline
Westworld Season 4 starts with Awake of Dolores and going to New York to live. Her lifestyle becomes going on blind dates, but suddenly a guy gets himself jumped from a building by saying Dolores is the reason for the death of his family. Maeve lives with Christina. Now, the story shifts to Caleb showing his family and Maeve going into Murder mode to kill the bad guys. Both discover that hosts replace humans in many places, and the mastermind behind that is Evil Dolores. Caleb and Maeve are headed to another Westworld set in prohibition-era Chicago.
The story shifts toward Bernard; he is in a sublime in search of a way to save the world. Caleb finds his daughter Frankie during one of the experiments and rushes to her, then realizes it is a robot. The robot releases a few flies onto Caleb, which helps Evil Dolores take control of a Human. Maeve helps Caleb, and they capture Evil Dolores. Later, we learn that it’s part of the interview to establish fidelity where they are 23 years into the future, 2083.
Evil Dolores has won the whole of humanity under her control. Evil Dolares faces a new problem due to outliners like Caleb, as mind control doesn’t work on them. She comes up with a game where hosts hunt down the Outliners, but hosts hurt themselves if they talk to outliners. Human resistance is also one of the problems for Evil Dolores. Teddy will be back and meets Dolores, and he’s here to help her wake up from the control of Evil Dolores. She realizes she is not writing a video game but stories about the people.
Caleb gets out of the custody of Evil Dolores and reaches out to his daughter through the radio. Evil Dolores feds up and wanted to close all of the parks. On the other hand, Bernard and Frankie are trying to bring Maeve online, and Frankie learns there is a traitor in the camp. She finds him out and then kills him. Bernard sneaks up to the control room and releases a cryptic video message which causes distraction from rescuing robot Caleb.
Now, Robot William enters the clash, kills both Evil Dolores and Maeve, and announces the people to kill each other as he believes that the world doesn’t deserve any of the Humans or Hosts. Evil Dolores puts herself in a new Robot body and fights with Robot William. Caleb saves his daughter, and Evil Dolores kills Robot William and deletes herself from the world. Human gets extinct in the world. We have to watch out for Season 5 for more answers to the characters’ situations.
