They have been together for a long time and Hirotaka developed feelings for Narumi during childhood. Hirotaka was a free otaku gamer who spent most of his time playing games. It was through otaku that Hirotaka and Narumi came closer and finally formed a mutual relationship. He was carefree unlike Narumi, it didn’t matter to him if somebody recognised his otaku identity. He had pride in being an otaku gamer. His character was portrayed as someone who was very attractive to the office ladies but he remained loyal to Narumi Momose.
- Hanako Koyanagi voiced by Miyuki Sawashiro. Hanako also worked at the same office as Narumi and Hirotaka. She was also an otaku player who cosplayed as males in most of her games. She also kept her identity secret but was famous in the otaku world. Hanako kept reading some manga during office hours.
- Taro Kabakura voiced by Tomakazu Sugita. Taro Kabakura was the co-worker of Narumi and Hirotaka. He was also an otaku player but his interest was not as intense as Narumi, Hirotaka and Hanako. Taro was married to Hanako and was happy spending his life with her.
- Naoya Nifuji voiced by Yuki Kaji. Naoya was the younger brother of Hirotaka. He was an energetic and cheerful university student. He deeply cared for his elder brother and shared an emotional bond with him. Naoya was not an otaku like his brother, Hirotaka. His character was depicted as more of an introvert and shy person.
- Ko Sakuragi voiced by Aoi Yuki. Ko belonged to the same university as Naoya. She was an otaku gaming freak. Her characteristic qualities were illustrated as a bit complicated in this anime series. Her gaming abilities reminded Naoya of his brother and he made her meet Hiroataka for the same reason.
