Yakuza’s Guide To Babysitting Season 2, originally named in Japanese as ‘Kumicho Musume to Sewagakari’ is a popular and fan favorite manga series. The story which revolves around the main character Kirishima who is known as a member of the Yakuza (powerful Japanese criminal organizations) is entirely created and illustrated by Tsukiya.
Later on September 8th, 2021, an anime adaptation of the original Manga was announced to be made. Directed by Itsuro Kawasaki, the anime series was to be produced by Feel and Gaina. The anime got its screening and premiered on 7th July 2022 under an independent television station named Tokyo MX. Due to the rapid growth of the series, it was licensed by Crunchyroll and is available now on the streaming platform.

The story of this comedy anime series is based on two main characters. Namely, Toru Kirishima, a 28 years old lad who serves the Sakuragi criminal family aka the Yakuza(powerful Japanese criminal organizations). The young delinquent has been loyal to this family for quite a long time as he obtained the title of ‘The Dragon of the Sakuragi’. He is known for his brutal actions against those who would bring harm to the Sakuragis.
Additionally, Yaeka Sakuragi, the 7-year-old girl daughter of the Yakuza chief, is the second primary character. As mentioned earlier Kirishima has been serving the family for a very long time and gradually he became really good at his job. Observing this fact, the Yakuza chief decided to assign Kirishima to a more tricky yet challenging role, which is babysitting Yaeka. After being thrown this oddball of a job, Kirishima got really tensed as he has minimum knowledge about kids and their likings. However, Kirishima received the task without any hesitation and took the challenge of pleasing his boss by taking care of Yaeka which is what the story is about.

Yakuza’s Guide To Babysitting Season 2 Plot
The story starts as Kirishima receives a call from the boss of the Sakuragi family while beating up a person as always. After talking with the boss Kirishima learned that he is assigning him away from the job he does very well which is fighting and beating up people to a more gentle and simple task, babysitting Yaeka Sakuragi, the chief’s little daughter. The boss also wanted Kirishima to step away from this violence for a few days and make him focus on himself. Keeping all of the clauses in mind the boss came to the conclusion that assigning him to take care of Yaeka would serve the purpose.
Panning to Yaeka, who is a 7-year-old child, is very hard to talk to and is a reserved kid. After what happened to her mother, the kid became more self-restraint. This is where the understanding between the duo of Kirishima and Yaeka takes the lead. From thrashing people up to going to fairs, doing the little girl’s hair, buying her gifts, and playing with her, changed the life of Kirishima, is portrayed exquisitely in this series. He learned things such as how to skillfully trick a situation of delinquents and thugs enclosing around them into leaving them alone through a game, in which Yaeka sees nothing wrong that influences her.

Yakuza’s Guide to Babysitting turned out to be a major fan interest in such a short frame of time. The show managed to grab the attention of a lot of audiences.
